I just have to first say Thank you so much to all the sweetest blog friends ever! I LOVE the emails that I get and appreciate each one of them! The comments are just as fantastic! It makes me so happy that some have found my blog as a source of inspiration! I get that inspiration from all of you really! So thanks again! Just wanted to give that shout out!
So on to the card! My friend Amy and I have really been discussing this whole Argyle thing lately! I did order the new stamp set but haven't invested just yet in the impression plate! SO, we found this cute little folder at Hobby Lobby and with that fantastic 40% off coupon, it was only just a couple dollars! Here is that plate in action....
On this card I added some distressing with the PTI tea dye...but just a little cuz I am still not totally a distresser just yet! Also, some black felt complete with stitching, a flower and that cute Fillable Frames #1!
I already had the sentiment stamped so I just masked off for the frame! Turned out kinda cute I think! Again, thanks so much for visiting! Have a great day!
Supplies:
Stamps: Vintage Basket Sentiments, Fillable Frames, Text Style II...all PTI
Paper: Lemon Tart CS, Kraft CS, White CS...all PTI again
Ink: True Black Palette...LOVE this stuff!
Misc: Marvy Flower Punch, Black Felt, Medium Scallop Die, Quickutz Diamonds and Dots Embossing Folder, PTI Black Button, PTI Twine, Fillable Frames Die
LOVE this Laurie! Neat embossing plate (don't you love when you find stuff like this!), and the little touches like the stitching and the way you left the frame "open", add such interest to this card! Great job :)
