Oh so happy!

I am THRILLED to stop in today with a new card!  Yes a NEW card!  I actually got to sit down today and make something!  It's been a whopping 7 days since I have been in my craft room!  As I told you in my last post, I did have surgery!  I didn't elaborate because I didn't want to sound like I was complaining or anything!  But I did have a kidney stone and it was horrible.  Thinking it would have been easier just to have another baby!  LOL!  I will spare you any more fun details and just say that I am so happy to be sitting upright and walking again!  :)  SO enough of that...on to my card...

This card truly has my friend, Jen, written all over it.  Not sure if its because of the twine or the colors or both!  I actually pulled out some of that patterned paper this time too! Oh and the frame from Dawn's MIM card!

That frame, butterfly and sentiment are from PTI's new Anniversary set.  I inked up the butterfly in kraft ink and then stamped off for this lighter image.  I actually heat embossed the frame...I never heat emboss...takes too much time...or so I thought!  I might have to try it again soon!  The background is Hero Arts Envelope background stamp.

On another fun note...over the last few months I have been collecting some Project Life stuff!  Yes!! Scrapbooking!  I started way back in 1998 using CM and found my way to card making around 07.  Since then, the scrapbooks have taken a back burner.  Its time to pull out some pictures and get busy!  If it wouldn't bore you to much, I might share some pages here and there!  I am really excited about this simple new way to document life!  And my youngest might actually have a finished scrapbook now!  My oldest has 4 complete 12x12's and she is only 7.  Poor B only has 6 pages....and he's 3.  Time to get busy!  ;)

Thanks so much for coming by today!  I appreciate all of you hanging out with me, more than you know!

In everything give thanks...

I have a card to share today that I made awhile back. This card showcases a Clear and Simple background from their new release.  I just love this sheet music look!

I stamped the image several times on the cardstock and then cut it in to 3 strips just to break up the background a little.  I used this amazing verse from the CSS set Gratitude.  I added in 3 little rose buds for some color!

I want to thank everyone who emailed, texted or messaged me in the last several days!  I did have surgery on Friday.  I am on the mend and today is the first day I have actually sat down to the computer!  I thought I would try to get a post up right quick and I am thinking the couch sounds good right about now!

Hope everyone is doing well!  Stayed tuned for some posts I have set to go here soon!  More Clear and Simple goodness on the way!  I can't wait to share!!

Heaven sent...

I had to stop in right quick with a super simple card.  I looked back at the cards that I had photographed forever ago and never posted and found this one.  This one, I am certain, came from a little Cristina influence.  She is amazingly talented and not to mention very sweet!  So here it is...

That adorable gingham paper is from Amuse.  Layered with a mat stack and some foam tape.  Easy peasy!

I have just finished up some posting, scheduled for the next few days!  I am going to be away from the blogo for a few days but wanted to let you know to stay tuned for some amazing...AMAZING things...from both DeNami and Clear and Simple!  You are NOT going to want to miss it!  I am sure over the next few days I will be laying around quite a bit, so I am hoping to catch up with all my blog friends!  My reader is overflowing with crafty goodness!

Thanks so much for coming by!  Have a great evening!

A little green...

It's time for another DeNami product spotlight!  This super cute little sentiment just in time for St Patrick's day!  Here is my card...

I used my Zing to cut out these fun little shamrocks.  You can go HERE for the free svg file.  I scored a line...which is hard to see in my pictures...and then added the shamrocks below.  The sentiment was perfectly placed with my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig!  Love that thing...a lot!

Stop over to the DeNami blog to see more green cards!  I can't believe that it is almost March!  The time really flies anymore!

After that, stop by the DeNami store to put this in  your cart!  It's 10% off this week!  :)

You're not going to want to miss whats coming up here in a few days!  DeNami has a new release coming and one big gigantic fun announcement!  (That makes you a little curious doesn't it?)

Thanks so much for coming by! ;)

oh, happy day...

It is a gorgeous day here in Kansas!  We just got home from church and I thought...I should take a nap today.  That didn't happen.  How come when you have stuff going on and want to take a nap, you could just pass out?  Then when you actually have time to take a nap, you can't?  Hate that.  I have been dealing with the oh so fun....kidney stones this week and so maybe I am all sleeped out.  lol.

Here is a card I made last week at Amy's house! She had these OH so adorable stamps...I just texted her to ask her the name and I haven't heard back yet so I will add the link when I find out!  I love love these clouds...

ETA:  Thank you Tanis!!!  Here is the link for this set....You are my sunshine!

Super simple but really happy, don't you think?

Well, I am off to find the kids!  I am pretty sure I hear a tractor running outside so I am sure  they are taking rides with daddy!  He is really good at wanting to entertain them even when he has loads of stuff to do!  I better go see if I can help!  :)  Hope you are all having a happy day too!

Thanks for coming by!

Hey Valentine...

It's group post day over at Clear and Simple Stamps!  Today's theme was to make a card using sentiments,  background text, and a fun alphabet to help you create to your hearts desire.  I picked up my new critter sets and found a fun little sentence to make!  Here is my card...

These words were put together using Party Elements: Critters and Critter Sentiments.  I colored the letters in with Copics, added those fun little hearts from Taglines: Critters and then layered the whole thing with some cute little polka dot paper!

Here are the links for the other DT girls.  I can't wait to see what they have for us today!

Hope you have a super happy Valentines day!  Thanks for coming by!

Welcome home...

I'm home from my crafty weekend with Amy, Jen and Barb!  I love being able to get away and talk stamping for a couple days with friends who get it!  LOL!  I am so lucky to have them close.  And I already can't wait for next time!  Here is this first card I made this weekend using one of Amy's stamps...

This is a Hero Arts stamp that I must have now.  I stamped it using PTI's new kraft ink...need that too!  The little heart is from Clear and Simple's Taglines: Critters set.  It fit perfect in that doorway!

So now I am off to unpack my stuff.  I didn't have to take much and am so glad I didn't because I had so much fun using Amy's stamps!  She had some fun sets that I hadn't seen before.  I'll be back to share those on another day.  Can you believe we didn't take one single picture?  We realized that as we were leaving Chipotle yesterday!  We had to stop for lunch before we left town and we are all sorta in love with that place!

I am also coming home to an amazing box of Clear and Simple goodies!  The March/April release is here!  I can't wait to dig in and start making some stuff!  I know I already tweeted this last week and shared it on Facebook but I'm pretty excited about this so I want to share it again here...

Clear and Simple stamps will now come in a DVD case!  The best part?  The sets will have a pocket inside to keep their coordinating dies!  How cool is that?  Stop back by tomorrow for the CSS Group projects!  And then again March 1st!  You won't want to miss this AMAZING release!

ONE last thing...I updated my FOR SALE page!  Go check it out HERE!  I am in the mood to purge and I know I will have more soon!  Gotta get rid of those loved stamps that don't get much use!

Ok....better get going!  Hope you all have a great Monday!

CSS and Moxie Fab!

This is my second post for the day. Scroll down to see my DeNami Blog Hop post!

Have you heard? Clear and Simple Stamps is Moxie Fab! Paper Crafts Magazine's Trends Editor, Cath Edvalson, featured a few fab pieces from the Critter Collection and gave them her Moxie Fab Stamp of Approval. Just in case you missed our Moxie Fab debut, we are having a little Moxie Fab showcase with the Design Team to highlight a few of the sets from Cath's list.

Leave a comment on any of the CSS team's blogs and one lucky winner will win a Love Cupid stamp set - after all it is almost Valentine's Day! Comments will be accepted up to midnight, Monday. A winner will be announced, Tuesday, February 14th...

Here is my card today using my favorite new Clear and Simple background stamp, Background Basics 1...

I cut the hearts using the Shapes: Heart Die cuts.  I just LOVE these things!  You must go check them out!  The Just for You sentiment is from Love Cupid.  I just added a little silver pearl for a finishing touch!

Stop by these other talented DT gals and see what they have created!
