Thanks {Scrapbook.com and Tim Holtz}...

Scrapbook.com is one of my favorite places to get all the fun things needed for Card Making.  Including all of the latest Tim Holtz Dies.  There are so many to pick from but this layered flower set called Brush Stroke Flowers is my favorite!

Scrapbook.com and Tim Holtz

To create this card, I used Altenew's 3D Brick Wall Embossing Folder to create the background.  LOVE that folder!!  Next, I grabbed several of Scrapbook.com's paper packs to die cut the flowers.  I love the colors and the compactness of these perfect paper packs! Using the Smart Craft Glue, I added the flowers to the background.

Poppin up to say....

Did you see The Greetery's latest release?  The Have A Heart Collection went live this last week and there are SO many cute new die sets including this adorable toaster from Hearts At Home: Toaster Die Set.

The Greetery

This adorable little toaster is SO easy to put together and when you use a little silver cardstock, it makes it even cuter!!  I added the toaster to a piece of Aqua Mist cardstock that I die cut with the Postal Frames Dies. After using my favorite Classic Stripes Stencil to add some detail to the Postal Frame, I stamped the sentiment from Hearts at Home Sentiment Set.  Last, I popped the frame onto a white card base and then added some foam squares to pop up the little toaster in the center.  Super easy!

The Greetery

Check out the full release from The Greetery by clicking HERE!  Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have a great week!

The Greetery Release Day!!!

Today is release day over at The Greetery!  Everything you saw yesterday will go live in the shop at 10am eastern today!  (1/17/23) Yay!!

I whipped up one last clean and simple card using the new Hearts Arrow Hot Foil Plate and created this card.....

The Greetery

I hot foiled the heart in gold foil and then created my own stencil using the Hearts Arrow Die set.  I did a little light ink blending right inside the heart and then added the simple sentiment from the Hearts at Home Sentiment set.  So easy!

The Greetery

The whole release can be found by clicking HERE.  Everything will be ready to shop at 10am!

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Hot Foil Plates.  These Hot Foil plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!

Hope you all have a great day!!

Have a Heart Collection - The Greetery

Hello!  Welcome to the Have a Heart Collection Showcase.  The Greetery has an amazing new release coming to you tomorrow at 10am EST time so for now, lets check out all the new goodies!  I will also be doing an Instagram Live over at The Greetery at a new time....7pm central, so come stop by and say hi!

Let's get started.  My first clean and simple card uses the new die called Hearts at Home: Mug Dies.  These adorable little mugs are so easy to put together and and in all the fun little touches, including the marshmallow dies, to create an easy project!

The Greetery

After coloring the mugs up with some Copics, I added them to the card with foam squares and then stamped the coordinating sentiments from the Hearts at Home Sentiment Stamp set. I love all the stamp sets that coordinate with this new line of dies.  Be sure to check out the Toaster, The Light Bulb, The Clock and The Sweater.  So cute!

The Greetery

There are 2 new Ribbon Maker dies this month.  We have the Ribbon Maker: Scalloped Hearts Die and the Ribbon Maker Heart Strip Die.  There are even 2 new colors of that amazing Ribbon Paper Betsy brought us for Christmas....Pink and Lilac.

The Greetery

One of my favorite things to do is make Valentines for teachers to pass out to their class.  Teachers have so much on their plate so every year, I pick a teacher and make around 24 fun little treats.  I have this years all picked out!  When I saw that Scalloped Heart Ribbon Maker Die I knew the die cut ribbon paper would make the perfect treat wraps.  I added in a heart from the Shapley Hearts Die set, along with a Tear Strip Tag die.....and the brand new Tear Strip Tag Sentiment Set.  I just love how fast these little tags come together and by cutting off the little tag hole, they make the perfect sentiment strips!

The Greetery

I love a large die to create the perfect focal point, especially for a clean and simple card.  The next card showcases the Heart Arrow Die.  This die could be used several different ways to create many looks but I used it to inlay the red glitter heart into the pink frame.  So easy!

The Greetery

The sentiment is from the Hot Stuff Sentiments and the Hot Stuff Sentiment Dies.  Love that you can pop them up!

The Greetery

You know I love mixing old and new and I wanted to make a coordinating envelope for the card, so I went back and grabbed the Stationary Box Die released last year and created the perfect flat envelope.....

The Greetery

I decorated the Postal Frame Die cut with the Pretty Postage Stamp Set and then added the Heart Arrow Die on Top.  I made a little envelope closer using the Ribbon Maker: Heart Strip Die and cut out 2 little hearts.  So fun!

The Greetery

The card fits perfectly into my little modified Stationary Box turned envelope!

A little info about commenting here on my blog....

My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam.  The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out.  If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok!  I will see it and I will get it posted for you.

The other issue is wether or not you need a google account.  I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain.  If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner!  I am sorry for the annoyance.  I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should.  I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again... Blogger is a pain.

A shiny shiny HELLO!! {Spellbinders}...

You guys.  Check this out....a shiny shiny bug!  A bug car!  LOVE!!  I used some Matte Gold Foil and made this cutie little car with the plate from the January Glimmer Hot Foil Kit!

Spellbinders

Wanna talk about an easy card to make?  I used 6 Copics and a ruler to create this super easy background. The "hello" is also a foil plate but guess what? I used it as a stamp.  I taped it to a block and inked it up and stamped with it.  So easy!  Foil would also look amazing but you know we were going for Quick and Simple here!  Yay!
