The Greetery Sweet and Sunny Release Day!

Today is release day at The Greetery!  I have had so much fun working with all the things.  Those bees!  The honey pot!  LOVE!!  The Hollyhocks are amazing and I really love all the Jumbo Curiosity!

I made one last card to share using some old products and some new!  First up, Hoop and Fringe.  I die cut the hoop and fringe both out of white cardstock and then added in some teal inking to the top of the fringe.

The Greetery

Once I had these glued together, I layered them onto a light gray cardstock, with masked off washi stripes of light gray ink.  I heat embossed a sentiment from Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You and then die cut it with a Sentiment Suite Die.  After adding color to the Jumbo Curiosity: Butterfly Die, I added it to the card with foam tape.

I bet you are excited about today!  You can click HERE To see the full release over at The Greetery! A big thank you to those of you who shop my links.  When you click on my links here, a small percentage of the sale goes to me at no additional cost to you!  I appreciate it so much!

 Have a great day!

My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam.  The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out.  If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok!  I see it and I will get it posted for you.

The other issue is wether or not you need a google account.  I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain.  If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner!  I am sorry for the annoyance.  I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should.  I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again... Blogger is a pain.

The Greetery Sweet & Sunny - Day 2

Hello friends!  Today is day 2 of the Greetery Release countdown.   Tomorrow is release day!  Today though....come hang out with me over on the Greetery's Instagram at 11am and I will show you all the new stamps and dies.  Stop in and say hi!

Today we have several more new products to share.  This first card showcases all 3 Honey bees from yesterday but today's new project is the Leaves All Around Stencil and die.

The Greetery

I also added the sentiment in from the Buzz Worthy Sentiments and Die Set.  I love how fun those big sentiments are to pop up on the card front.

The Greetery

Another new die set available tomorrow is called Jumbo Curiosity: Butterfly Die and Stencil Set. These new dies are SO much fun.  The die cuts out the butterfly and the stencil adds in the color and details.  In today's case, I actually cut 2 butterflies I half and gave it a new look.  The other fun thing is that I die cut the butterfly out of black card stock and then used Picket Fences Golden Rose Paper Glaze to give the butterfly the monarch look.  I used a white gel pen to add in the dots.  I added it to the Jumbo Jar Die after I added in the Blooming Branch.  I layered it on the jar and the card base so it has that layered look.  I finished the card off with a heat embossed sentiment strip and a silver jar lid.

The Greetery

Last card for this week's release....there is a new Botanicut in town!  The Hollyhocks!  These dies are just beautiful and so easy to layer up.  I die cut them all out of water color paper and then added watercolor as I went along.  Super easy and quick to color!

The Greetery

I layered them on a Postal Frame Die, also die cut from water color paper, after blending a sky and some grass in the background.  To finish off the card, I used the Opposites Attract Hot Foil Sentiments and Opposites Attract Dies on the bottom of the card.  Look at that shine!

The Greetery Sweet & Sunny - Day 1

Welcome to day 1 of the latest Greetery Release called Sweet and Sunny.  I am totally in love with this months release because so many of these fun new products work great for my clean and simple style!  Let's get started!

The first products I wants to share are all about the Bees and Honey!  For this card, I used Honey Jar Stamp and Die Set along with the Honey Comb Corners Die.  You know I love to go back in and use past Greetery goodies, so I also used the Slim Alphabet Die along with the All Kinds of Happy dies.  I used the Honey Comb Corners to add a little dry embossing, after I blended in the yellow ink on both corners.  I stamped and die cut the bees and honey pot and added those to the card front.  Using black fun foam, I die cut the sentiment from those past die sets and then finished the card off with a little Nuvo drops for the honey and a little red heart from the Heart Bits Sprinkles.

The Greetery

For this next card, I am showcasing to little friends on a card using some of our favorite strawberries.  First, I built a little wooden wall using the Ship Lap Builder Dies and then added in a little batch of berries from the Botanicuts Strawberry Dies.   I grabbed the Silver Lining Die and cut the clouds out of white card stock and then used them for a stencil to ink blend in some light clouds in the background.   Using a sentiment from Simple Things Stamp Set, I added that in with black ink.  Last, I die cut the new little Honey Bees, colored them up with Copics and gave them some vellum wings.  I popped them up on foam squares to finish off the card.

The Greetery

Todays last card uses the new Honeysuckle Stems Stamps and Die.  To create this card, I masked off the top of the card base and ink blended in some light gray ink.  Then I used last months Seed Catalog Background Stamp in the same gray ink to add a little detail to the bottom of the card.   I stamped out the Honeysuckle and die cut the image and then die cut a piece of fun foam.  I lined the back of the image with the fun foam to make the bloom dimensional and then added that to the card front.  Last, I die cut the Lets Have a Word: Birthday Die in black fun foam and added that to the card. I masked of a tiny happy sentiment from Sentiment Suite: Birthday Stamp Set and added that in black ink.

The Greetery

That's it for me for today, but there will be so much more to see over at  The Greetery Blog! Be sure to comment on every stop on today's list, for more chances to win one of the two $50 gift cards that will be given away today!

You're a Wonderful Friend...

Have you seen the Stitched Flower Etched Dies from Spellbinders?  They are soooo cute!  They have been out of stock for a minute but they are back!!  I took these flowers with me on a camping trip months ago and did some stitching.  I love how they turned out!!

Spellbinders

To start, I added an embossed panel to the front of a white card base.  I used the Slimline Flora Embossing Folder to add in that beautiful texture.  After stitching up those adorable flowers, I added them to my card front with foam squares.  Each flower got an Altenew Enamel Dot to complete each bloom.

Spellbinders

I did a little gold foiling to a favorite sentiment from Yana's Special Sentiments and added that to my card to finish it off.

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!
