Instead of using it as intended, I cut up some of the envelopes and added them to a white card base with foam tape.  I added in a little sentiment from the new set called Sending Smiles by heat embossing on a little banner to add another pop of color.

This next card uses Flower Garden Bold Prints....

Hero Arts 2019 Catalog

I stamped this one in black ink and then added in some color using Copic Markers.  I die cut the new hello die in black fun foam and black card stock for a 3D sentiment.  The new word dies in the catalog are some of my favorites!

One last clean and simple card...

I used the Abstract Graphic Texture die on the card base of this card.  I added in a butterfly from the Color Layering Monarch Butterly sent.  I adore this set and how beautifully it colors up the image with different layers of ink.  Last, I die cut a a rectangle of vellum using the Rounded Rectangle Infinity Die  and heat embossed the sentiment.  I added that to the card front with foam tape to finish off the card.

Altenew February 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop...

Welcome to the Altenew February Blog Hop!  We have lots to share today.  So many gorgeous new stamps, stencils and dies!  I have 3 projects to share today and if you keep reading, you will find the details of today's hop with the full hop list below and you will see how to enter for a prize.

The new set called Dotted Blooms is a fast favorite.  I just love this simple floral stem and all the card making possibilities it holds....

Altenew February Release

To create this card, I stamped the stem in black in and then I stamped the additional stamps in Gold Delicata ink.  I wanted to keep the card clean and simple and though gold would be a fun touch.  Next, I used the Thinking of You die and die cut right from the stamped panel.

Altenew February Release

I layered fun foam and the sentiment die to pop up the image on the card front. I love all the white space that makes the bloom pop!

Altenew February Release

The new masking stencils from Altenew are genius!  They are a thinner material than the regular stencils and make masking so easy!  I used the masking stencil to layer the blooms from Frilled Petals.

Altenew February Release

I added in color with the layered images included in the set.  I just love how easy it was to stamp.  I added a sentiment and then cut the panel to pop up on a card base.  To finish this card, I added a tiny bit of black and white striped washi and some black pearls.

Altenew February Release

There is a new set called Trendy Circles and it is SO much fun!  The possibilities with this one are endless!

Altenew February Release

I used Halftone Squares Stamp set to add a border along the bottom.  Then I stamped the circles around the front of the card.  I added in a sentiment and then a few little black enamel dots to finish the card.

Spellbinders

To create this card, I added some large washi to the a card front panel and then popped it up on a white card base.  All I did was hot foil the thank you and cut it out with the banner die.  I added it to the card to finish it off. Super simple!  But the foil really adds a pop!

Spellbinders

This card was created by adding a confetti stamped image on a card base.  I stamped it once in pink ink and again in Gold Delicata Ink.  Then I went in with the gold foiled sentiment to complete the card.  Definitely quick and simple!

Altenew Artist Markers Set D Release Blog Hop...

Hello crafty friends!  I am hopping today with the girls at Altenew to share a new set of Artist Markers.  The new colors are absolutely gorgeous and the perfect addition to the existing Altenew Markers.

I grabbed a beautiful set of Altenew Blooms called Engraved Flowers and did a little coloring....

Altenew Marker Hop

To create this card I added 2 strips of stripped washi along the bottom of a white card base.  I stamped the sentiment just above and then did a little black copic spritzing on the card base.  After I colored up the blooms, I added them to the card front with foam tape.

Altenew Marker Hop

I love these markers because I am not a professional colorer...is that a word?... the set gives you 3 of each color so you can blend away and you always know you have the right markers in each color family.

Here are the new marker colors....
