MFT December Card Kit....

I am back today, to share another card using the new MFT December Card Kit.  Tomorrow is usually release day, but the fun thing for this month?  It's already live and ready to buy!

Here is my card for today...

MFT December 2016 Card Kit

I used 2 things for this card that do not come in the kit.....black card stock and blue fun foam.  The kit comes with this gorgeous stamp set, coordinating dies and 3 adorable sentiment dies, along with envelopes and a selection of colored cardstock.  You can see the whole kit by clicking HERE.

I stamped the flowers to make my own patterned card stock.  Then I added it to a black card base.  I used tealish blue fun foam and cut out the sentiment.

That is it for today!  The rest of the team will have some more samples over on the MFT Blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

December Moments Inked...

Moments Inked Banner
Hey planner friends!  I am stopping in today, to share my holiday inserts for the Moments Inked Planner System.  As you know, I usually keep my planning pretty simple, but I had to bring in the bling and add in some fun Christmas lists.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

To start, I added the scalloped divider from the Moments Inked: Divided Dies, cut out of red glitter card stock.  Next, I used the December die from Monthly Moments: Year Round 2 dies.  I backed the divider with vellum to help keep that nice and sturdy.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

I grabbed one of the middle pages from the Moments Inked: Basic Page Dies to make a little post it note holder.  I stamped the sentiment from A Thrill of Hope on the Spring Moss page.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

Last, I created a Christmas To Do List....

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

I used Moments Inked: Posted II and stamped the lines on the largest basic page die cut in white card stock.  I added in a gorgeous tree image from O'Tannenbaum on the side and then added in the "Christmas" die cut, from Wet Paint Holiday,  again in the red glitter cardstock.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

These lists are sure to keep me organized with all the stuff we have coming up.  Definitely a fun, but busy time of year.

One more shot of the top of my planner....I just love seeing that red glitter divider, peaking out and keeping my place!

Hope you have found a little planner inspiration here.  So glad you stopped in!

Merry Christmas!

MFT December Card Kit....

If you haven't seen already, the December MFT Card Kit is already available in the MFT store!  We are all stopping in over the next 2 days to share some kit samples.

Here is my card for today.  The new kit is called Fancy Flowers.

I heat embossed and die cut these 2 flowers and leaves and then colored them up with Zigs and a water brush.  I just love what those Zigs do.  I am no pro when it comes to coloring but this is so much fun!  Next, I used the Smile die and cut it right out of the front of the card base.  I added a small piece of vellum to the inside of the card to create a fun look for the sentiment.

Next, I made a coordinating tag.  I loved coloring these flowers so much, I couldn't quit!

I used a tag from the Tag Builders Blueprints 4. I cut one of the sentiment dies included in the kit, right into the tag, just like I did the card....and then added the vellum to the back.  I finished it off with some white twine.

I love this kit.  These flowers are so much fun to color!

The MFT Blog will have lots more card kit samples to see today.  Head on over there to see more!

Is it cold where you live?  Today its -7 but they just said on the news, it "feels like" -30.  WOW!  I am staying inside today for sure!  A good day to get inky!

Hope your day is a good one!  Stay warm!

Advent Calendar 2016

First up is a card created with the Reverse Confetti Paper Pack called Very Merry.  I don't use patterned paper that often but I do LOVE this pack.  I added the paper to the card base, and then popped up the sentiment on the stitched panel.  I added in a piece of ribbon just for a little detail.

Advent Calendar 2016

Next up, a matching card.  These sentiment from Reverse Confetti's set called Christmas Blessings are so pretty!  I just love this font.

Advent Calendar 2016

I cut the RC Thanks Tag with white cardstock and then again with the patterned paper.  I stamped the sentiment and added in a little greenery from Concord & 9th's Take a Bough dies.  I added in several enamel dots for berries.

Advent Calendar 2016

Last, I finished it off with some red ribbon and twine.

These projects were fun to make and I can't wait to pass them on and spread some Christmas Cheer.

PTI Release in Review....

It's release day today over at Papertrey Ink.  Everything you see today will be available tonight, 12/15/16 at 9pm CST.

I have 3 cards left to share for today's Release in Review.  This first card uses the new set called Swan'sational....

I used the Cover Plate: Waves die along with some Spring Rain ink blending to create the card base.  I die cut the 2 swans and stamped the eyes and colored the beaks.  I popped them up with foam tape,  I added in some lily pads and a couple flowers just for a touch of color.  And that sentiment?!  Isn't it gorgeous?

This next card uses the set called Fresh Bouquet....

I used the stitched oval die from the Noted: Scalloped A2 Die set and stamped the flowers.  These flowers are so easy to stamp and layer and it definitely makes for a gorgeous focal point.  I popped the oval up on foam tape.  I added in the sentiment from Inspired: Love.  I added some Glossy Accents and glitter to the "love" die cut for a little sparkle.

Last, I created a card using the Splits: With Love set.

I stamped and embossed the main flower image and then colored the flowers in with Zigs and a water brush.  I added in the green leaves using Simply Chartreuse.

I used Gold Embossing powder for the main image.  I went a little bit out of my comfort zone and used an orange card base.  I love the pop of color!  Its good to step out of my white card base box.  :)

So this is it for today.  Stop by Papertrey ink today and do some shopping!  If you stop by Nichole's blog, she and the rest of the design team will have more to share!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
