Happy Easter {Spellbinders}...

Have you seen the Sunday Drive Die set from Spellbinders?  It is the most adorable little car with a Happy Birthday theme.  But today I am using the little add on set called Hoppy Sunday Drive!

Check out today's card....

Spellbinders

To create this card, I did a little ink blending with one of my Rectangle Masking Stencils and then added in the background for a light grassy area and some clouds.  (all stencils linked below)

Spellbinders

I die cut all the pieces to build this adorable car and then added the bunnies and all their details.  I know it looks like lots of pieces but it was really fun and easy to put together!

Spellbinders

The fun part is that Spellbinders has several additions to the Sunday Drive Set and you can create all kids of occasions with this adorable little car!  Check them out here....

Sunday Drive Etched Dies (Main car set)

Hoppy Sunday Drive (Spring Set that I am using today!)

So many fun themes and SO many possibilities!

With All my Heart {Simon Says Stamp}...

I sat down and made a card today just because.  I love these kinds of cards.  I dug through a pile of new stuff that I hadn't used yet and I found a die and a stencil that just belong together.

Simon Says Stamp

To create this card, I found a pink cardstock for the card front and for the base.  I placed the streamer stencil down first with a little Pixie Spray and then blended in some white ink.  Next, I layered on the heart stencil and added in some red ink.  I also used my Silver Glitter Dust to spray on some shine while the heart stencil was still in place.

Simon Says Stamp

I added the card front to the card base with a layer of fun foam for dimension and then worked on the sentiment.  First, I thought about leaving it white but realized quickly it needed some umph.  So I took the same pink cardstock and adding some ink blending with the same red ink to match.  I also added a little bit of a darker red along the bottom so the sentiment would have some gradient.

Simon Says Stamp

After adding the sentiment to the card base and then realized it needed even more umph.  I grabbed my Glossy Accents ad covered the red die cut and then finished it off with a little Simon Mini Heart.

Simon Says Stamp

I hope you enjoyed today's just because card!  Thanks for coming by today!  Have a great one!

TE Mini Slim Release...

Taylored Expressions has some new products in the Mini Slim line and I am here today to share a few!
New to Mini Slim Line cards?  They are a min version of the large Slim Line.  Check out the full Mini Slim Line over at TE by clicking HERE!

Taylored Expressions

This first card uses the Mini Slim Circle Trifold Template and Dies.  I love this idea for the Trifold Cards bc it places those circles perfectly for you!  I love the stitched detail and with that, kept this card super clean and simple.  I used the circle template stencil that you use to place the dies for some ink blending in the center of the card.  I used Hearts a Plenty to add a popped up heart right in the center.  And done!

Taylored Expressions

This next card uses the Mini Slim Circle Window Die.  This cover plate cuts out 3 scalloped circles with the impressed dots around each window.  I drew out some rainbows using Copic markers and then die cut HEY using the new Cap It Off Alphabet.  I popped the 3 letters up on foam tape in the center of each circle.

Taylored Expressions

Last card uses the Mini Slim Square Window Die.  I added in 3 little birthday cuties from the Little Critters Stamp Set.  I gave each of them a party hat used Tag Team Birthday's by stamping the images included and then cutting them into little triangles.  I masked each image and did a little cloud ink blending behind them before adding the window panel on top with four foam.  I finished each party goer out with a little wooden star on their hats.

Taylored Expressions

The bundle includes the Little Critters stamp set, the Just Saying stamp set, and the Mini Slim Square Window Cutting Plate die. The discounted bundle price is only available through Sunday, January 31st.

Rainbow Hugs {Erin Lee Creative}...

My sweet friend, Erin, sent me this ADORABLE die and I had to stop in and share it. It is so adorable that it is in fact, sold out!  BUT you can pre-order by clicking HERE!

Erin Lee Creative

This die is called the Jumbo Skinny Rainbow Die.  The size of it is just perfect to fill up an A2 sized card. I love that it has 5 separate dies so the rainbow color combo possibilities are endless!!

Erin Lee Creative

I add my most favorite clouds ever....they are from Lil Inker so sadly they are retired...but I just had to use them for this card.  I stamped a simple sentiment on one of the clouds and finished it off with some clear dew drops.

Always here for you {Spellbinders}...

Today I played with a GORGEOUS new Glimmer Hot Foil Plate from Spellbinders from the Delicate Impressions Collection.  This plate is absolutely beautiful and there are so many possibilities to create with it.  This is definitely an image that can be colored, or watercolored but I chose the clean and simple route....don't I always?  :)

Spellbinders

I found a piece of patterned paper in my stash.  (I never use it but I hoard it.  I am guessing I might not be alone there right?). I loved the blues in this paper and thought it would look so fun behind the gold foiling.   I gave it a shot and I was all in.  I just love the look as it makes that foil shine!

Spellbinders

I simply added it to a coordinating card base and added a simple sentiment.  Easy peasy!

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

So once the platform and your glimmer plate heat up, you add in the foil and the cardstock and run in thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock is just gorgeous!

New Mini Strips from Taylored Expressions!

There are some new mini strips in town over at Taylored Expressions.  They are funny and snarky and just too cute.  When I saw these new funny sentiments, I knew exactly what I had to do.  Enter in Farm Fresh Critters and boom.....

Taylored Expressions

I had to do a switcheroo on the Farm Fresh critters.  It just goes too perfectly with these fun new sentiments.  The first card uses Simple Strips: Snarky.  Its full of hilarious sentiments that pair with the Simple Strips die.  Love that you can cut them all out and have the leftovers for another card.

This next card uses the other side of the Farm Fresh cow/chicken combo.  I added in the Fun and Funny sentiments here to go with the little critter.

The Greetery Nature Lover Reveal Day 2...

Today we have another group of products to see from The Greetery....and then tomorrow is the day you have all been waiting for! Release day!

Let's get started!

I wanted to pair the new Botanicuts Forget Me Nots with an older favorite to make this card....

The Greetery

First, I used Painterly Stripes Background on the white card base.  I built a little scene with Cozy Cup and Cozy Cup Coaster and then added the Forget Me Nots along the side.  They are the most perfect dainty flowers and really easy to put together!

The Greetery

Another new set called Lovely Blossoms has quickly become a favorite.  I love the large, bold blooms!

The Greetery

I used just one of the stems on this card and layered it on one layer of Shapley Hearts dies and the middle of the Heart Leaf Jumbo Posy Pocket Die.  I added some stripes to the card base and a sentiment from Love Song Sentiments.  I used foam tape to add the heart to the card base for some dimension.

The Greetery

I love the new Shapley Hearts Dies.  I die cut 2 of them for this quick and easy card...

The Greetery

I added some stenciled stripes to the larger heart and then added them both to the white card base.  I die cut the Let's Have a Word: Love Die in white and added that to the center.  Super quick and easy....and nice and flat!  Easy to mail for sure!
