Creative Construction....
Hello there! Today I am stopping in with a card for this month's Creative Construction with Blueprints over at MFT. Blueprints feature many innovative designs that make it so easy to add interest to your projects without a lot of unnecessary effort. Frames that feature multiple openings allow you to compartmentalize and feature numerous images and sentiments without the monotony involved in aligning a variety of dies. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Blueprints that include these fantastic elements.
I have a fun halloween card today, showcasing the frame from Blueprint 29 and the new set called Spooky Sweets.

I die cut 5 frames and stacked them up together for some dimension. For the background, I did a little ink blending on each of the negatives that came out after cutting the frame die. I stamped the sentiment ahead of time too. Next, I adhered that frame panel on the front of the card. After stamping and die cutting all the pumpkins....including a black pumpkin attached behind with foam tape, I added each pumpkin to the frame with more foam tape. This card is definitely a 3D card!

There will be lots more Blueprint Framed creations to see over at the MFT blog. Head over there for a list of links.
Thanks so much for stopping in today! Have a great day!

Moments Inked Newsletter...
![Moments Inked Banner](https://c8.staticflickr.com/2/1485/23906111199_b1c0d7de6f_z.jpg)
Hey there planner friends! I am here today with the Moments Inked Newsletter for Papertrey Ink. I have something fun to share today. I have been seeing lots of foiled planner inserts on Pinterest and I realized how easy it would be to make with some supplies we already have on hand. First off, here is my faux foiled planner insert....
![IMG_8975_edited-1](https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8410/28679236524_69df6a3af3_z.jpg)
I used the large Basic Page Die, Paper Clippings: Oh Happy Day die with the Gold Foil Adhesive sheets to create this fun look. (All supplies linked below)
![IMG_8964_edited-1](https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8399/29193624532_0e26f4ac0a_z.jpg)
I flipped it over and peeled off the adhesive backing, while the main part of the die stayed stuck to the press n seal.
![IMG_8962_edited-1](https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8309/29193630282_98ed0963cc_z.jpg)
I used a push pin to weed out all the centers of the die, before laying it down to the large basic page. And that is it! Super simple and such a fun, and trendy look!
I thought I would share my set up for next week, while I was at it. I just love the Planner Banner Stamps and die. Such an easy way to keep track of activities.
![IMG_8976](https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8181/28679270914_3baef79d7b_z.jpg)
I used the layout colors for the month of August. There is a page on the front inside cover of your planner that shows all the PTI colors used for each month. For my daughter, I used Berry Sorbet and for my son, I used Simply Chartreuse. A color coordinated system helps keep everything organized for the week.

On a clear dashboard, I have my to do list stamped out on the 3x6 white post it notes, available at PTI.
![IMG_8978_edited-1](https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8326/28681009843_7de37a63f8_z.jpg)
Next, I have my grocery list ready for the week, as well. And one more shot of the end of the week....

After years of planning, and decorating pages, and using stickers, I have found that I like to keep it simple. I still use this green pencil so my entries are easy to erase if needed. The banners are also removable so I can change things around.
I hope you have enjoyed today's post! I am so glad you stopped in. Hope you have a great week!

![MFT Chibi Lights](https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8103/29134010131_802d89de38_z.jpg)
I used the Make a Wish stamp set and dies to create this simple card front. I added the Chibi lights in behind to make a circuit that lights up the candles.

I did another impression using all the dies and then cut out the panel with the scalloped stitched rectangle. I added in some silver thread and then topped it off with the new free with purchase die, "many thanks". I did some ink blending before cutting out the sentiment die to give just a little pop of color.
