National Craft Month Celebration Blog Hop....

I am super excited to join Nicole from Right at Home and some crafty friends for a blog hop today.  This blog hop is a celebration for National Craft Month.  Nicole was so sweet to create this stamp set, called Make Something Beautiful,  for a craft weekend we had recently and today we are all here to share!  Head on over to the Right at Home blog for a full blog hop list.

For today's project I decided to make something other than a card.  I wanted to create a simple, rainbow, watercolor wall art with the adorable paintbrush included in the stamp set....



First off, I heat embossed 7 paintbrushes with white embossing powder.  I used my Lyra Aquacolor Crayons and did some watercoloring with 2 different browns for each paintbrush handle.

Next, I used a rainbow of colors to color each paintbrush tip and then added a little paint puddle above each brush.  Seriously, super simple!  I found a white frame at Hobby Lobby and added the paper to the frame.  I am excited to have this sitting on my shelf to add a pop of color in my craft room!

Magic of the Season...

Hey there crafty friends!  I shared this card over on the Right at Home Facebook page a couple weeks ago, but thought I would stop in and share it here, too.  Right at Home's Holiday release is so much fun.  I just love this set called Christmas Foliage and the sentiment set, Magic of the Season....



I stamped the boughs in a couple of greens so there would be slight variation.  Then I added in the steps and berries for some color.  I have a roll of glitter tape that no longer has any sticky left to it for some reason.  So I added a piece under the edge of the sentiment box and it turned out looking a little like a piece of glitter ribbon.  It works!  :)

Peace, Love, Joy...

I am so ready for Christmas.  I love all the decorating and gift buying and parties and card making!  I have made lots of tags this year and I found a new favorite set from Right at Home Stamps.  I shared this over on the RAH blog the other day and thought I would share it here too!

The new set is called Holiday Ribbons.  This set works for quick and easy tags!

I simply stamped the scalloped border and the little red flowers ribbon onto a piece of card stock.  I lined up my die after the stamping was complete and then cut.  This way, all the details from the stamps were perfectly lined up.  I added some banner in, with a heat embossed sentiment from Christmas Foliage.  I added in some ribbon and twine to finish the tag.

Hey there, crafty friends!  I am stopping in today with a card using a set from Right at Home called Grateful Heart.  I love the images and font in this set.  I used just 2 stamps for this card and I love the way it turned out...

First, I stamped the leaf image on some pattered paper.  I love how the leaves feel like they are actually falling.  I die cut the paper with a stitched square die and then popped it up on foam tape.

Last, I stamped the sentiment on the bottom...

Right at Home: Thank you...

Hey there, crafty friends!  I am stopping in today with a card using the new Right at Home set called Grateful Heart.  I LOVE the sentiment included in this set and all the fun little images.



For this card, I stamped several leaves and did some Copic coloring.  Next I took a 1" strip and stamped the sentiment.  I arranged the leaves behind the sentiment and glued the leaves and sentiment strip down to the card base.  Super simple!

Right at Home Birthday Blog Hop...

Happy first birthday to Right at Home stamps!  It's time for a blog hop!



I am so happy to be joining in for Nicole's one year celebration for Right at Home.  Her stamps are adorable and so much fun!  I have a CAS card and envelope to share today using a couple of her sets.



This card uses the banner line stamp from Banner Alphabet Add-On to create the lined background.

 Then I did some ink blending for a fun ombre look, along with some black copic misting.  I decided to cut that panel in half and create a layer background.  

I added in an ombre sentiment (after seeing Kymona's adorable ombre sentiments on IG) and then did some fussy cutting.  I added in some sliver star sequins to finish off the card.

I needed a matching envelope so I stamped the back with this adorable sentiment from Right at Home's new set called Happy Mail Year 2. I also added in a matching pink heart to the back.

Right at Home Blog Hop...

 

Hi there crafty friends!  I am so excited to joining the design team girls over at Right at Home for the next couple months!  Nicole has the most adorable stamps and I am excited to get to play along.  This July release has some fun new sets, including the 2 sets I used today, Banner Alphabet and Banner Alphabet Add-on.  

To make this card, I did a little Copic Airbrush in the background.  I used the banner string stamp across the front of the card, and then added in the banner to say "happy day".  I finished the card off with the clouds and sun, after adding in a little grass along the bottom.
