Heather's Monday Sketch

Again, here I am being a bad blogger! But I am back today with Heather's Sketch!

It is so ridiculously GORGEOUS in Kansas today, I can't even handle it! I have NOT been inside at all! But then I realized that I missed my table and I just had to make something that had that "fallish" feeling! So here is my card.....(lovin' the layers Heather!)

LOVE this Springtime set by TAC! The tree is so versatile for any season!
One more note.....The new Magalogue goes live tomorrow, September 1st! Call or email me to get your very own copy! And I just have to let you know that I was fortunate enough to have several of my own cards and a project featured in this addition! Can't wait to share it with you!
I will try to get back to you soon! I have some thing cookin'! Be back to share!

Happy Happy Birthday!

First of all, I am so sorry that I have been a horrible blogger! With my little one going back to school I thought for sure I would have MORE time but not so far I guess. BUT, here I am today with a new card!

I realized that I haven't made a Birthday card in a long time! Here is a simple but fun birthday card using TAC's Graphic Blooms and a sentiment from Sunday Stroll.

The blooms are colored with a red Tombow marker. I absolutely LOVE that color and it goes so well with TAC's Scarlet cardstock!

I paper pierced in between each bloom and then popped two of them up for a little 3d look. I love pop dots so much! They really help add just a little something to the card!

In the center of each card I added a big ole' glob of stickles! Stickles are a MUST have for sure!
Hope you like my card! You have to let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping!

Simple but Elegant...

This has to be one of my favorites in a while, under the "Simple Elegant" card category. This was so simple....no layers....no ribbon...{gasp, I know!}. This is one piece of cardstock, 2 stamps, one type of embellishment and one FABULOUS Scor-Pal. This all equals super simple......

See how easy? Here is for all the girls who say they can't.....you really can! I promise it's so simple!

Stamps: TAC's Cute Curliques, Forever Friends
Paper: TAC White Premium Cardstcok
Ink: Noir Palette, Toile Pink Palette
Misc: Scor-Pal, Silver Pearls (Thank you Silke!)

Addicted to Fruit!

OK yes...it's true! I am addicted to Fruit. Floral Fruit, that is! This is a fantastic new Level B set from TAC. I just can't get enough of it!! So here I am with 3 more cards to share!

This first one uses Floral Fruit and Enjoy Nature, which is a Level A set for hostesses! I used the flowers in that set to make my own patterned paper! The "ink" for this card is all Tombow markers! I love the red that comes in the basic pack! And I love the effect you get when you use markers instead of ink!

This card was alot of fun too! I took a green piece of cardstock and stamped the cherries in black on the non-textured side. Then I took my Mini-Kai's and cut out the image. So basically, what you are seeing is the reverse side of the stamped image! The cherries I cut out of TAC's Scarlet cardstock and added some white gel pen to finish!

This last card I used chalk as my coloring medium. I stamped the pear in Versamark and then dusted it with yellow and green chalk from my Pebbles Earthtone set. I cut out to pears and attached them to the card base with double sided foam tape for some dimension! I gave the brown cardstock just a little "lift" by scoring in a frame with my Scor-Pal. So super easy!!

Well, I hope you like my fruit addiction as much as I do! Maybe next time I will bring you something new and not fruity! :)

Remember the sets you have seen here are FREE just by hosting a qualifying FUNSHOP totaling $100(Level A) and $250(Level B)!

Call me today to get your party scheduled! AND if you schedule before September 30th, all hostess benefits are DOUBLED!!

One in a Melon!

My husband has farmed with his Dad and brother as long as he can remember! One big part of the farm has always been Watermelons. He and his Dad and brother have grown acres and acres of watermelon over the years. We live in the sand and I guess watermelons love this soil. He said when he was younger, they used to pick wheat truck loads of melons a day. (One wheat truck is like 5 or 6 truck beds full!) This is the first summer in his 35 years they have not had any melons! So for him it is the happiest summer ever but for me, I am missing the sweet tasty watermelons! Every summer I would look forward to this time when they were nice and ripe. Now I am going to have to get them at Dillons!
SO, in honor of my husband, I had to make a watermelon card! (And of course he hates the things! I wonder why? hehe)

Other than my white foam tape showing through, I really like my card and the sentiment is just perfect! :)

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you summer is going great! Can you believe it is almost over? The Kansas State Fair is only a month away! Where did the time go?
