This first card showcases Grand Botanicals and Keep it Simple: Retirement....

IMG_3984

I used the Cornered Dies on this next card with a little stencil and masking to make this rainbow sentiment....

IMG_3981

I used What the Doodle: Paisley here to create this card, along with Family Tie for the sentiment and die.....

IMG_3987

I created this colorful medallion using the Medallion Trio....

My last 2 projects were created using Gathered Garden.  This first CAS card was quick and easy to stamp using Spring Moss and Berry Sorbet with a stamped off Smokey Shadow sentiment.....

IMG_4034

And last, a tag using Gathered Garden.  I stamped several of the flowers along the side and then added in a sentiment from Banner Style....

PTI Release in Review....

It's release day at Papertrey Ink!  Everything you see today, here and from the rest of the Design Team, will be available tonight at 9pm CST.

I have 3 cards to share today.  This first one uses the set Boho Rounds.  I used my Misti and did some masking and inked up different parts of the design with different color inks.  I added Glossy Accents to the dots and then did a little spritz of black Copic.  I added twine and a sentiment to finish it off....

Untitled

I stamped a simple design on this card front.  I used Aqua Mist and Lemon Tart.  These beautiful images line up perfectly to stamp 6 on the front of an A2 card.  I added a sentiment on a vellum stitches panel and then added the card front to a Lemon Tart card base....

Untitled

For this last card, I used Aqua Mist card stock for the card front and then blended in a little Hawaiian Shores.  I added part of the new Floribunda Frame in Polka Dot Vellum.  I used the new Inspired: God die and sentiment to the front of the card....

Untitled

There will be lots more to see over at Nichole's blog.  Head over there for more links to check out what the Design Team has whipped up for today.  So glad you stopped in!

Introducing Palm Prints...

Welcome to Papertrey Ink's release countdown!  I have one card to share today using 2 new sets, Palm Prints and Splits: Hello.

So I got an email the other day with a picture of a calendar.  When I saw the calendar, I was instantly inspired to re-create the same look.  Sadly, now I can't find the email  (or remember where it came from) but the card was totally inspired by a gorgeous calendar with similar black palms.

Untitled

I took one of the images from the Palm Prints and stamped it in black around the card front.  Then I used a little polka dot from Splits: Hello There and stamped it several times in Hibiscus Burst, as well as the sentiment.  I layered the card front on a Hibiscus Burst card base.

Untitled

Nichole will have lots more stuff to see on her blog with some links to visit the rest of the Design Team.  I will be back in a couple of days with the Release in Review!

Have a great day!

December Moments Inked...

Moments Inked Banner
Hey planner friends!  I am stopping in today, to share my holiday inserts for the Moments Inked Planner System.  As you know, I usually keep my planning pretty simple, but I had to bring in the bling and add in some fun Christmas lists.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

To start, I added the scalloped divider from the Moments Inked: Divided Dies, cut out of red glitter card stock.  Next, I used the December die from Monthly Moments: Year Round 2 dies.  I backed the divider with vellum to help keep that nice and sturdy.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

I grabbed one of the middle pages from the Moments Inked: Basic Page Dies to make a little post it note holder.  I stamped the sentiment from A Thrill of Hope on the Spring Moss page.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

Last, I created a Christmas To Do List....

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

I used Moments Inked: Posted II and stamped the lines on the largest basic page die cut in white card stock.  I added in a gorgeous tree image from O'Tannenbaum on the side and then added in the "Christmas" die cut, from Wet Paint Holiday,  again in the red glitter cardstock.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

These lists are sure to keep me organized with all the stuff we have coming up.  Definitely a fun, but busy time of year.

One more shot of the top of my planner....I just love seeing that red glitter divider, peaking out and keeping my place!

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

Hope you have found a little planner inspiration here.  So glad you stopped in!

Merry Christmas!

PTI Release in Review....

It's release day today over at Papertrey Ink.  Everything you see today will be available tonight, 12/15/16 at 9pm CST.

I have 3 cards left to share for today's Release in Review.  This first card uses the new set called Swan'sational....

IMG_3928

I used the Cover Plate: Waves die along with some Spring Rain ink blending to create the card base.  I die cut the 2 swans and stamped the eyes and colored the beaks.  I popped them up with foam tape,  I added in some lily pads and a couple flowers just for a touch of color.  And that sentiment?!  Isn't it gorgeous?

IMG_3929

This next card uses the set called Fresh Bouquet....

IMG_3918

I used the stitched oval die from the Noted: Scalloped A2 Die set and stamped the flowers.  These flowers are so easy to stamp and layer and it definitely makes for a gorgeous focal point.  I popped the oval up on foam tape.  I added in the sentiment from Inspired: Love.  I added some Glossy Accents and glitter to the "love" die cut for a little sparkle.

IMG_3920

Last, I created a card using the Splits: With Love set.

IMG_3923

I stamped and embossed the main flower image and then colored the flowers in with Zigs and a water brush.  I added in the green leaves using Simply Chartreuse.

IMG_3924

I used Gold Embossing powder for the main image.  I went a little bit out of my comfort zone and used an orange card base.  I love the pop of color!  Its good to step out of my white card base box.  :)

So this is it for today.  Stop by Papertrey ink today and do some shopping!  If you stop by Nichole's blog, she and the rest of the design team will have more to share!

Mom & Me Valentine Inspiration...

Welcome to our third and final group post for the December Papertrey Ink Release.  Today's post is all about Valentines.  I love Valentines Day and when I get a chance to make Valentines with my kids, I love to pull out all my craft supplies and get to work.  Today, I have a quick and simple Valentine easy to mass produce and make with your kiddos.

Untitled

I cut the Tasting Tag die out with white card stock.  I used the solid heart die from Enclosed Heart for the next layer.  I die cut the heart, then I lined up the heart with the Tasting Tag and ran it through again so the stitching would line up.  I added in a large roll of Smarties with a bit of twine.

I used the new Dress Up Dolls: Puppy Love and did a little mirror image stamping to create a second puppy.  I colored them both with Copics and then added them to the tag.  That adorable sentiment also comes from Puppy Love.  To finish off the little Valentine, I added some Hawaiian Shores Ribbon and a little twine bow.  I also added some tiny hearts cut from glitter cardstock.

Untitled

All of these steps would be so easy to create with your kids.  They would love to do the die cutting and even coloring the puppies!

The rest of the team will have some super cute Valentines to share today too.  Head on over to Nichole's blog to see a list of places to visit.  Thanks so much for stopping in today!  Hope you have a great day!

Feel Better Inspiration...

Welcome to our second group post for the Papertrey Ink December Release.  Today's post is so much fun!  Today's new products are all about making cards, tags and even a little gift, to send a get well message.  I have created a fun little package that could be a get well gift but I am thinking this could also go to a mom.  Being a mom is hard.  And I would guess that most of us get stressed or overwhelmed from time to time.  This would be the perfect gift to receive in the midst of a little chaos.  :)

IMG_3911

First, off the card.  These adorable new stamps and dies from the sets called Take it Easy, along with the Cozy Bed Dies, create a fun new card.  Can you see the newspaper?  I love it!  There are little stamps to add in with different topics.  I picked the "Mom takes day off: Nasa reports world didn't stop spinning".

IMG_3916

I added the newspaper on top a pair of super cute, watercolored pajamas.  The bed has layers of sheets and blankets and an adorable stitched pillow.

IMG_3899

Next, I created a tag using Tag Sale #3 die.  I added in some Ombre patterned paper and a sentiment from Keep it Simple: Sending Hugs.  I decided to kick the tag up a notch and added it to a clear wine tag with a stitched bow on top.

IMG_3913

This was the tag before I added it to the wine tag.  I love this ombre paper to help add a little something to a CAS tag.

IMG_3904

The last part of this little package is the new Tissue Cover Die.  I am geeking out over this adorable little die.  It is so simple to make and could be made so many different ways.  Out of patterned paper, stamped on, embossed.  I chose to keep it CAS....as always...and coordinate it with the rest of the ensemble.

IMG_3912

I cut it out of Raspberry Fizz card stock and when trying to decide how to decorate the box, I instantly thought of the Headline Alphabet die to create a fun little, Hibiscus Birst saying on the box.
Bless you!  And of course, a little red heart!

I can't wait to see what other Get Well Inspiration there is to see over at Nichole's blog today.  Head on over there for a list of links to check out today's group post.  Thanks so much for coming by!

Celebrating Love....

Good morning!  Welcome to our first group post for the December Papertrey Ink Release.  Today's new products are all about the heart.  I have a quick and simple card, including a gorgeous new color, perfect for a wedding.

IMG_3894

I used the new set here, called To Have and to Hold.  This beautiful new set includes a wreath and several flower images to add in.  There are also sentiment included in a beautiful font.

I used Cover Plate: Stripes Horizontal Die in white and placed it on top of the new Lilac Grace card base.  Love this light purple.  I stamped and die cut the wreath and added in a sentiment and bow to finish off the focal point.

Head on over to Nichole's blog to see what the design team has for today.  I'll be back tomorrow with day 2 of the group posts!

Have a great day!

PTI Release Countdown Day 2...

Hello friends!  I am stopping in today with a fun new set for Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink Countdown.  The set I am showcasing today is called She Moves.  This set is perfect for the athlete or runner in your life.  I have 3, clean and simple cards to share....

IMG_3884

This first card uses  2 images from She Moves and a sentiment from the set Making Strides.  I stamped the large paint image after adding in some Raspberry Fizz and orange zest on the image.  I added in the runner image and the sentiment in black.

IMG_3885

On this next card, I used a sentiment from Making Strides and the new She Moves dies.

IMG_3887

If you can see the base of this card, I handmade my own large stencil that says RUN and did a little light ink blending in soft stone.  I added the sentiment in black on top.  I used the new dies and cut out 4 of each color and stacked them up for some dimension.

IMG_3888

Last, I created a quick tag using a sentiment from the new set called Stroke Speak, along with another image from She Moves.

IMG_3890

I cut out the tag die in Stampers Select White card stock and then stamped the sentiment using an ombre blend of Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores.  I stamped the image in black ink.  The set comes with 2 of each image, one solid and one a little more distressed.  You can see on this tag, I used the distressed image.  I layered the tag with another striped tag and finished it off by tying them together with some black twine.

IMG_3892

Come back by tomorrow for our first day of Group Posts.  Lots of fun stuff coming your way!  Head on over to Nichole's blog to see more sneaks for today.  Thanks so much for coming by!
