Love you More and a SALE {MFT}...

MFT has a great sketch this week and I thought I would stop in and share my card.  It is perfect for a quick and simple Valentines Day Card.....

MFT

To create this card, I used the Lots of Hearts Cover Up Die in red cardstock and cut a 3" section out of the middle.  I cut a 3 1/2" piece of white cardstock and used the Inside and Out Stitched Circles to create this panel that I attached over the top of the hearts.

MFT

I added the panel to the card front with foam tape for some extra dimension.  Last, I heat embossed a sentiment and used the Skinny Strip Dienamics to cut it out.  I just added a little cut on the end to give it a banner look.  Super clean and and simple!

Did you know that MFT has a great sale going on right now?  Today is the last day for 25% off all ink pads, cubes and refills.  Click HERE to shop!

Thanks so much for coming by today.  Hope you have a great day!

Erin Lee Creative January Release Blog Hop...

My sweet friend Erin has an amazing new release for January at her shop, Erin Lee Creative. It is filled with stamps and dies that are just perfect for my clean and simple style.

Today I am hopping along with the girls from Erin Lee Creative to share a few new things.  There is a full blog hop list at the end of this post along with Erin's Giveaway!

Check the out!  An adorable new stamp set called Oh Em Gee along with the most fun Leopard Stencil....

Erin Lee Creative

To create this card, I stamped the Oh Em Gee in black ink on a white card base.   I used the same stamp and stamped it a 2nd time on a piece of masking material.  I cut out along the bottom tail to get the perfect masked off shape to mimic the wording. Next, I ink blended in the background with a tan ink and then I laid the stencil down and added in black ink for the Leopard Spots.  Last, I used a qtip and added in a darker brown in the middles.  To finish the card off, I added Glossy Accents to the sentiment.  I love how that gives the card some shine but still keeps it fairly simple.

This next card uses the Triangle Collage Die and a sentiment from the Oh Em Gee set.....

Erin Lee Creative

I scored a white card base every 1/2" and then stamped a sentiment along the bottom of the card.  I die cut several of the triangle dies in white, black and gold glitter card stock.  After stacking them up, I glued them to the front of the card.   I love the design of this triangle die!

I had several of die cuts left so I made something a little different than I usually dol....

Erin Lee Creative

I saw the triangle dies laying in a pile and I just thought what the heck....lets make something super abstract!  I added little bits of adhesive behind the triangles and then attached it to the card.  I finished the card off by adding a sentiment along the bottom.  Super simple!

Altenew January 2020 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi friends!  Altenew has a new release today and its AMAZING!  So many new stamps and dies.  So we are hopping today.  There is a full list of stops to make at the end of my post and also learn all about the prizes.  Don't forget to leave a comment below for your chance to win.

I have 3 projects to share using all new products which are linked at the end of this post.   If you were at Creativation, you maybe seen these in the Altenew booth.  I loved seeing all the pictures of the booth on IG!

This first card uses the new die called Framed Congrats Die along with the Bold Floral Drape Stamp....

Altenew

To create this card, I stamped the Bold Floral Drape Background on a piece of coral cardstock using Altenew's Coral Berry Ink.  Next, I used on of the new Rounded Rectangle Dies to cut out the panel.  The Congrats Frame coordinates with the rectangle die perfectly so the sentiment acted as the perfect frame for the floral image.  I popped this panel up on foam tape to a bright white card base to finish the card.

This next card showcases the new Watercolor Halftone Stamp set along with the Hello and Hugs Die set....

Altenew

This was a fun card to make.  First, I took a navy blue card front and added in some Desert Night ink around the panel.  Next, I used white ink and stamped the floral image from Watercolor Halftone Stamp Set.  I love the detailed image this creates.  Next, I scored 1/2" frame around the card panel leaving both sides open for the main image.  I used white, pink and yellow paint and added the splatter all of the card front.

I die cut some leaves from the Leaf Clusters Die set out of Vellum and then ink blended on some pink stripes using the Classy Stripes Stencil.  I die cut the new hello die out of white card stock with the shadow cut in silver glitter paper.  After I layered those 2 together, I tucked in the vellum leaves and added it all to my card front.

For my last card, I threw in a quick and simple one!  This card uses the new blooms from the Incredible Stamp set...

Altenew

I stamped the big bloom several times around the front of the card. I stamped in the details with pink and gold ink.  Using a very light aqua alcohol marker, I traced each of the flowers to give them a little pop.  To finish off the card, I added in a sentiment, heat embossed on a black banner.

MFT Vault Release...

Today is the day!  The January MFT Vault is open and the newest comebacks are available.  I made this quick and simple tag using the new set called Key to My Heart....

MFT Vault

I colored up this little gal and added her and a coordinating sentiment to to a white tag.  I added another stitched red tag behind it after using the Lots of Heart Stencil on that layer.  I tied the tags together with some ribbon and twine to finish it off.

Stop by the MFT Blog to learn more about this month's Vault Release.  Thanks so much for coming by today.  Hope you have a great day!

January MFT Vault Countdown....

Welcome to day 2 of the MFT Vault Release.  All of this stamps and dies that have come back out of the MFT Vault will be available tomorrow, January 21st at 9am CST.  I have one last card to share using the  Party Animals Stamp Set and Dies, and the Barn Die-namics.

Now...if you follow me, you know that ocean and simple is my middle name....but today I went a little crazy.  I had to build a barn!  :)

MFT Vault

I die cut all the pieces of the barn and put it together.  I stenciled in come clouds and added in some grass on a white card front and then added in the barn.

MFT Vault

I did more no-line coloring than I have ever done in my life on this horse, ballon and banner images.  I die cut them with the coordinating dies and added those in to the little scene.  At this point, I consulted my friend Audrey, because I don't generally make scenes.  hehe!  To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment on a white banner and added that to the top.

MFT Vault

The rest of the MFT Design Team will have lots more to see. Stop by and check it out!

Have a great day!
