Love you More and a SALE {MFT}...

MFT has a great sketch this week and I thought I would stop in and share my card.  It is perfect for a quick and simple Valentines Day Card.....

To create this card, I used the Lots of Hearts Cover Up Die in red cardstock and cut a 3" section out of the middle.  I cut a 3 1/2" piece of white cardstock and used the Inside and Out Stitched Circles to create this panel that I attached over the top of the hearts. 

 I added the panel to the card front with foam tape for some extra dimension.  Last, I heat embossed a sentiment and used the Skinny Strip Dienamics to cut it out.  I just added a little cut on the end to give it a banner look.  Super clean and and simple!

MFT Vault Release...

Today is the day!  The January MFT Vault is open and the newest comebacks are available.  I made this quick and simple tag using the new set called Key to My Heart....

I colored up this little gal and added her and a coordinating sentiment to to a white tag.  I added another stitched red tag behind it after using the Lots of Heart Stencil on that layer.  I tied the tags together with some ribbon and twine to finish it off.

January MFT Vault Countdown....

Welcome to day 2 of the MFT Vault Release.  All of this stamps and dies that have come back out of the MFT Vault will be available tomorrow, January 21st at 9am CST.  I have one last card to share using the  Party Animals Stamp Set and Dies, and the Barn Die-namics.  

Now...if you follow me, you know that ocean and simple is my middle name....but today I went a little crazy.  I had to build a barn!  :)

I die cut all the pieces of the barn and put it together.  I stenciled in come clouds and added in some grass on a white card front and then added in the barn.  

I did more no-line coloring than I have ever done in my life on this horse, ballon and banner images.  I die cut them with the coordinating dies and added those in to the little scene.  At this point, I consulted my friend Audrey, because I don't generally make scenes.  hehe!  To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment on a white banner and added that to the top.

January MFT Vault Countdown...

Good morning!  Today is a good day for 2 reasons.  1.... we get to share sneak peeks for the January Vault Release.....and 2....the Chiefs game is on!!  I can't wait for 2pm!  Meanwhile, we can check out all the amazing cards sharing the latest sets coming back from the MFT Vault.  

Here is today's card using the set Undeniable Chemistry and the coordinating Chemistry Set Die-namics....

I grabbed an aqua cardstock and stamped all the elements in light gray ink.  I added the panel to a white card base.  

Next, I heat embossed the sentiment on a panel of vellum. Using the Chemistry Die-namics, I cut out all the beakers and then ink blended on their little cut outs.  I sprayed glitter spray on a piece of white card stock and then cut the little heart die for one of the images.  Super simple!

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge....

Its time for another Wednesday Sketch Challenge over at MFT.  Check out the MFT Blog for more info on how you can plan along and win prizes!

I created this card by using the new Heart Stencil, cutting it into 3 panels.  I added those to the front of the card with foam tape.

Next, I used the little heart die cuts from the Sweetie Pie Dies and added those around the panels.  I used the new set called Smitten with You and added the perfect sentiment about all the hearts.

In addition to housing a shaker pouch, the Message in a Bottle Die-namics can be used to create a layered, die-cut bottle (vellum or acetate are fun options for the bottle while cork paper is just begging to be used for the stopper). Place the stopper on top of the shaker pouch or cut it in half and place one piece inside of the shaker pouch and the other outside to give the appearance of it being slid within the bottle.

Finally, use the Wave Maker Stencil to create a beautiful deep blue sea to set your message afloat in.

We've completed the January kit with a palette of card stock options perfect for evoking a romantic nautical feel.

I have one quick and simple project using the supplies in the kit plus one extra palm tree...

I used the wave stencil to crate a soft ocean scene and the die cut the bottle from the center.  I filled the bottle with heart and little diamonds for some shimmer.  I added a heat embossed I love you from the kit stamp set.

I added a cork bottle stopper and then added in the palm tree for a little extra color!

MFT and Friends....

It's release day at MFT! The January Release is now available to shop!  I have one last card to share using the new set called Let's Stick Together....

This was absolutely the easiest card ever!  Those cactus images and pots just colored up beautifully.  

I added them to the card base along with a sentiment and that's it!  Clean and simple!  I did add one little image to the envelope.  That way I have a matching set!

MFT Release Countdown...

Today is the last day of the MFT January Release Countdown and tomorrow is the big day!  Everything you have seen in sneak peeks this week will be available tomorrow!

I have one last card to share using a fun new product called Lot of Hearts Cover-Up die....

So I was hanging out with some friends and I got a wild hair.  I decided to color.  The entire thing.  This is not like me.  I don't generally like to color.  So I chose the largest and hardest thing to color. Ever.  So with my friend Lori Craig (coloring genius), and 4 shades of red Copic markers by my side, I got busy and did all the shading. It's no where close to perfect but it happened and here it is!  The cover plate definitely took on a new look!  I used a sentiment from Sweet Celebrations to keep from covering up much of the background.  I added it on to a white card base to finish off the card.
