OK back with some more Argyle! LOVING this set! I used Dot Spot too and a sentiment from Fly Away!
A pretty cool tip here....if you have the blue Jumbo Marvy, you can fit 4 Happy Birthdays from the Fly Away set perfectly in a circle. I just punched out the circle, put the circle down first, then the block and then arranged the stamp to fit on a quarter of the circle. Then stamped it 4 times! Worked PERFECT!
This is all Spring Moss too! Love LOVE this color! I am really going to work on using more than one color in a card! I seem to think monochromatically! Maybe the next card I make will have 3 colors in it! LOL!
Thanks for stopping by!
this is fabulous... love the design of this card!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty ...... I do love that argyle !!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is really great Laurie! I love the colors and of course that argyle!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, I love this card and you're right... this argyle is awesome! I really need to use mine more! :) Great color choices!
ReplyDeleteLove Spring Moss, too--really love it with black! Fantastic design, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteI can not get my argyle to stamp perfectly across like you did. Very good job n that! I love this color, too. So soft and pretty. I really like the layout on this card. Clean and striking.
ReplyDeleteThat is supercute!
ReplyDeleteWOW, your argyle looks perfect Laurie! And I love the tip you gave us abotu fitting the sentiment into the circle 4 times...clever and artistic. This card is awesome. Maybe monochromatic is your "thing", don't fix it if it works! lol
ReplyDeleteLaurie....I have to agree that your argyle is perfect! I could not be that brave to do the argyle in the middle of the card...my luck I would stamp it wrong and not have something to put over it to "fix" it!! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever used Spring Moss and black but I'm going to give it a try! Very striking!
Gorgeous! I like how you left a border around the edge of the card and the argyle just in the middle. Very cool! And I see nothing wrong with monochromatic when it's done well, as you did here!
ReplyDeleteLove your argyle pattern - and the black really sets off the lovely Spring Moss! I love monochromatic...
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous!! Love the colors and the background, and of course the circle too!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! CAS with that pop of black... fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I love how you used the Dot Spot image to go in the middle of the circle.
ReplyDeleteHi, Laurie!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your card. I have been loving green for a while now and it's my little boy's favorite color. The argyle background is perfect. The bow is fantastic, too. I thought the Happy Birthday sentiment was a circular stamp. How neat to know you created that look. The green button is perfect! This would be a fantastic masculine card! I have been loving all the eye candy on your blog lately!
