Scor-Pal Blog Hop

Blog hop time again! This time we were to make a project using the Scor-Pal! I picked a box that I made for the April Stamp of the Month!

This is a 3x3 note card box! It was very simple to make! The patterned paper was made using The Angel Company's April Stamp of the Month, Floral Vines.

It has a cute little band to keep the box shut! I used Sophia and In Bloom Buttons and Blossoms for the decoration!

Then I made a set of 3x3 note cards to go along with it!

Here is the tutorial to make these boxes:

One more quick project for you....

Here is a card I made today using a fun little new trick I came up with!

To make these "ruffles":

1. Cut strips of paper in 1 inch strips.

2. Cut the decorative edge with any punch or decorative scissors that you have!

3. Pierce holes with any size of paper piercer, hole punch or Crop-O-Dile.

4. Score with Scor-Pal at 1/2 inch along the scalloped edge.

5. Fold slightly at score line.

6. Attach with adhesive on the flat side of the paper.

7. Line up "ruffles" and slightly bend again if needed!

8. Decorate card or scrapbook page as desired!!

Edit: Just a fun little note....this card was published (with a new image and sentiment) in The Angel Company's Inspiration Aveunue! There is a fun little tutorial there on how to make the ruffle!
