Life is a Beautiful Ride {Spellbinders}...

Hey friends!  Hope you are all doing well.  I wanted to stop in with a quick card using a gorgeous sentiment from Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System....

JulySBLWillison2

This card was super simple to create.  I grabbed some watercolor paper simply for the texture.  I used Gold Foil with the Life is a Beautiful Ride glimmer plate on the front panel.

JulySBLWillison3

I stamped these gorgeous blooms from Altenew's Story of Us and added those to the card front with foam tape.  I attached that front panel to a card base with fun foam to finish off the card.

You can see that beautiful gold foil shine in this last photo.....

Not sure what Hot Foiling is?  Here it is a nut shell....  Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

So once the platform and your glimmer plate heat up, you add in the foil and the cardstock and run in thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock is just gorgeous!

Such a fun technique with SO many possibilities.

I am so glad you came by today.  Hope you have a great day!

Spellbinders July Clubs Blog Hop...

Hey friends!  Can you believe its July?  The Spellbinders Club Kit Hop is here and I don't know where the month went.  We are in the middle of band camp here with my oldest and its so much fun to see.....at the same time, how is she going to be a junior?  Time is flying by so fast!

So this month brought lots of fun kits over at Spellbinders.  If you are new to the SB Kits, check them out HERE!

I combined the Wedding Season dies with the July Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month frames to create this....

I used Matte Silver Foil and added the frames to white cardstock.  I used the coordinating die to cut the frame out and then popped it up on a white card base.  I die cut the wedding dress and tux and all the fun little details to put them together.  I hot foiled the sentiment strips and added those to the front of the card to finish it off.

Destination: Summer Release from The Greetery!!

Today is the day!  The Greetery Release is now live and ready to shop!  Did you guys hang out with me yesterday over on IG?  We had a great time chatting about this latest release.  If you missed it, stop over to the Greetery's Instagram and you can rewatch the video showing all of the latest products being released today.

I have one last card for you using the new Print Shop: Peachy Keen Bundle.....

The Greetery

I love the stencils and stamps included in this set.  Together, they create the most fun peachy background.  The stamps work perfectly together to add in the shading and detail of each image.

The Greetery

I wanted to let that background shine so I simply added a sentiment using Sentiment Starters Die Set in black cardstock.  Super easy!

The Greetery

Head on over to the Greetery to shop today!  Cant wait to hear what you get!

Have a great weekend!

My project today uses the new Creative Cutouts: Nested Wreath.  All supplies used in today's card are linked below in my supply list!  :)

Altenew

To create this card, I used the smallest wreath in the set and did a little spritzing with Alcohol Ink Sprays, Lagoon and Mountain Mist.  I added that to a white card base that I spritzed wit black ink.

Altenew

Next, I added Brushed Grid washi tape to a piece of cardstock and then die cut a circle.  I popped the circle up on foam tape and then added the hello sentiment.  That sentiment is die cut out of black fun foam.  I just love using fun foam for sentiments.

Altenew

Altenew has several new stencils this month but here is one of them....Feathery Stencil...

Altenew

I kept this one super simple by blending up the background with Mountain Mist In and Lagoon.

Altenew

The Greetery Destination: Summer Day 2...

Hi friends!  Welcome to day 2 of the Greetery July Release Reveals!  Today's new stamps, dies and stencils are SO much fun!!  It's all about the Destination!  There are 2 new sets, Destination and Destination: Summer.  These sets are filled with all kinds of little details that make the perfect map and destination type cards.  I LOVE to travel....and recently bought a camper so we are camping (while social distancing, of course!) and so these sets just called to me!

This first set uses Destination: Summer and its coordinating dies....

The Greetery

First, I die cut the new Destination: Waterfront Map and then did a little ink blending on each of the pieces.  I laid them back down into their negative for the perfect placement and then popped them up on foam tape.

The Greetery

I stamped and die cut all of the little pieces to create a fun little map scene.  I used Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You to add the warm thoughts greeting.

The Greetery

This next card uses one of the new Destination Map Stencils and the Destination Stamp Set...

The Greetery

First, I stenciled the map background with a light teal ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the set along the bottom.

The Greetery

Using the stamps from the set, I die cut each little detail and added it to the card.  I love how the house works on the map, laid out to show the adventure in the camper by the mountains.  I also added in the compass detail showing the mountains to the West!  And that heart?  Its mine!  My heart is in the mountains.  Colorado native here!  :)

The Greetery

I know the rest of the Design Team will have lots to see!  Stop and check out there creations.

Wanda Guess

Remember everything you see today will be available at The Greetery, tomorrow, Friday, July 17th!

Thanks so much for coming by today!  You will have to leave a comment and tell me what is on your wish list!  Happy shopping tomorrow!  :)
