Good morning!   Today's Retro Sketch is brought to you by a previous card of mine that you can check out HERE.

Here is this week's retake...

I turned the sketch on its side again.  I love doing that!  I used some Dear Lizzy paper and a sentiment from Simon Says set Talk Bubbles.  I added in a wire camera clip and a wooden heart from a SSS Card Kit that I got several months ago.

Fun blooms...

Happy Wednesday!  I just got home from work and thought I would share a card I made the other day. I used a CTMH stamp set called Love Blooms.  I just love these flowers.  

It may be kinda hard to see from the picture, but the kraft is just a card front.  I stamped all the roses with Raspberry Jam Hero Arts ink.  Then I stamped the outline from the set, on the top using WPlus9 White ink.  I attached the kraft panel on the front of the white card base but I left about 1/8" of white showing on the bottom.  Then I added in a SSS banner and sentiment.

Verve + Cameo...

With my new room set up, my cameo is right here next to my computer and much easier to use.  I have a drawer in the Elfa, which is also here at my right, full of Neenah paper.  It's kinda fabulous.  (the paper and the set up) :)  So with that, I have been using my Cameo a lot.  I have a couple cards here today and I thought I would stop in and share.  CAS Cameo cards...



I used the most adorable saftey pin cut out and then added in a sentiment from Verve's Making a Statement.  I did the same thing as I have done on my post fe posts....colored these with Copic markers The top of the pin is BG11 and the bottom is C1.  Easy!

This next card uses a super fun bloom I found in the Silhouette store....

I colored the die cut while still on the mat and that made it so much easier to blend.  I used a little R24 and a little R29.  

I added in a simple sentiment from Stronger Love.  Super simple!

I saw all the different PTI color combos and sketches for this weeks blog hop and had to play along!  Here is my first card for the day....maybe the only card...but I am going to attempt a few more...after I take a nap. :)



I used Sketched Shapes and the colors listed below to create the CAS card.  I added in a few Neat and Tangled sequin to finish it off.

Can't wait to see what everyone else made up for today!  Off to check it out!

Stopping in with today's Retro Sketches card.  I love this week's sketch....I say that a lot don't I?  Well, I do love it. :)  Here is my card...



I stamped the banner from Card Exchanging Friends in different colors of Amuse and Fresh Inks.  Then I added in the heart, sentiment and envelope all from the same Simon Says set.  So cute!  And SO fun for us card makers.  Go check out the set and read all of the sentiments, if you haven't seen the set before.

Boston Terrier love...

Just stopping by with a quick card I made recently.  I colored something!  Kind of excited about it.  I don't generally color.  I like to *try* to color, but then usually waist a bunch of time and go back to my quick and simple ways.  This time I watched a Kristina Werner video and copied exactly what she did. I love this little stamp set from Simon Says.  My parents used to raise Boston Terriers, so I grew up with one in the house at all times.  So this stamp is a tad sentimental.  And perfect for all my Boston owner friends....



I used an MFT grass die and an Avery Elle sentiment to complete this card.  OH and a Lil Inkers cloud, cut out of vellum up there in the sky.  I finished it off with some pattern paper and a white twine bow.

cameo bow love.

So, I've had this bow in my Silhouette library forever and I've been wanting to use it and just never have.  Today was the day, I decided.  Best thing about this bow?  It was only .99.  And you can make it bigger or smaller and cut like 20 at once.  I mean, if you needed 20 and all.  I do love dies, don't get me wrong.  But I loooovvee my Cameo.   (Click HERE for the bow cut.)

Here is today's card.  A little CAS glam maybe?  What do you think?

I used an Avery Elle sentiment and then added in the bow.  The glitter was an after thought, believe it or not.  I was staring at it...as I usually do....and decided it needed a little something.  I added some white glitter for a little glam.  And that's it.  

Today is a lazy day around here.  Lazy.  And lovely.  One kid....at the zoo with a friend.  2nd kid....out buying a tractor with daddy.  Me?  alone.  Can you hear that?  Me neither.  :)  Or is it angels singing?

I better go get something done now, so I look like I was productive while they were gone!  Have a great rest of your day!
