Special Delivery....

Hey crafty friends!  I am back with another new creation with an older Greetery stamp set. I went through my stash and pulled out some old favorites and came across the Christmas Care-A-Van Stamp set and I just knew it had to be inked up!

To start this card, I grabbed the Frosty Flakes Stencil and added a little Snowdrop Glaze (linked in my supply list) to a white card panel.  I blended in a little teal ink and a little green ink on the panel for the grass and sky and then cut the panel down 1" and popped it up on a white card base.

The Greetery

Next, I stamped up this adorable Christmas Van.  Using my Misti, it made it so much easier to add each layer of color.  I went in with some colored pencils and just added a little extra shading.  With a sentiment from the same stamp set, I used black ink and then added it to the van.  To finish off the card, I stamped and die cut a Christmas tree and popped it up on top of the van.  I love this super simple layout.

The Greetery

Do you have older favorites that you go back to each year?  Its fun to dust off some older sets and bring them back!

Hope you are all having a great week so far!

Special Delivery...

I went into my craft room today for the sole purpose of picking something older in my stash to use it and give it some love.  I came across The Greetery's Snowflake Soiree and had to jump right in.

The Greetery

First, I took the little snowflake stencils and created a background using some Snowdrop White Paper Glaze from Picket Fences.  It made the most fun shiny snowflakes.  I added in some Glimmer Mist Spray to the base as well so we have a lot of sparkle!

Next, I stenciled and die cut the adorable snowflakes included in the set.  I popped them up on foam squares to give some dimension.  Last, I used the new Tear Strip Tag Stamp Set and Dies to create the sentiment banner.  I snipped off the end to lose the tag look and keep the sentiment banner look.  So easy!

The Greetery

Are you ready for Christmas?  I can't believe its almost here!  We just have a few things to finish up and we are ready to enjoy to holidays!

Hope you have a fantastic Sunday!

Sooooo Nice to know you!

Stopping back in today to share another Concord and 9th card!  There is a stencil set from awhile back that I absolutely fell in love with and had to grab it up!  It's called Petal Pusher.

The Petal Pushers Stencil Pack consists of seven stencils that create various floral designs, that can be used on all kinds of cards and other projects! It coordinates with the Petal Pushers Stamp Set and Petal Pushers Dies. 4.75" X 4.75".

Concord and 9th

The stencils are so easy to blend out with your favorite colors and then cut out with the coordinating die.  To finish this card off, I used a sentiment from the new Happy Rays Stamp Set Bundle and then cut it out with its coordinating dies.

Concord and 9th

That is it for today.  Stop back by tomorrow for a new card.  Yes I am on a roll this week!  :)

SOOO Nice to know you!

I have had so much fun being a guest for Concord and 9th.  It has been a great week and SO fun to use all these amazing new products from their latest release.  I have 2 more cards to share using the new Happy Rays Bundle.  I just LOVE this new Turnabout and all the fun little details it comes with.

Here is my first card.  The sun rays are super easy to stamp out, of course, using that awesome Turnabout Jig.  If you don't own one, you should!  Makes your all your turnabouts come out perfect!  I used the circle dies from the bundle to pop up the center and then added the sentiment, which is also included in the stamp set.  I added the little heart dies, added some glossy accents and then sprinkled on a little glitter to finish off this card....

Concord and 9th

I still have more to share!  So stop back by tomorrow to see another  Concord and 9th creation!

A little Pop-Up Shoppe....

I am here with another day of fun with Concord and 9th!  Today we are sharing the add-ons for the Pop-Up Shoppe Base Dies.  We have the Booke Shoppe and the Bake Shoppe.  Each of them has a set of dies and a cute little stamp set for the perfect sentiments.

My first card is using just the Booke Shoppe dies.  I created another clean and simple scene with a book shelf and some rainbow books.  I added in the little plant, the adorable cat silhouette and the sentiment.

Concord and 9th

For my next card, I made the full Pop-Up Shoppe Base and then added in some cute details from the Bake Shoppe Dies.  All of base is made out of white cardstock and the details are all in gold cardstock.  I had to add in another cat and then finished it off with a coffee sign.  So fun!

Concord and 9th

I lined all the windows with acetate just for the finished look...

Concord and 9th

I have one more day to share my  Concord and 9th creations so stop by tomorrow to check it out!

Hello {Concord and 9th}...

Concord and 9th's Pop-Up Shoppe Base Dies are absolutely adorable!!  The actual pop up base is so easy to use but the dies included can also be used to make a simple scene.  Here is today's card...

Concord and 9th

I used the elements in the die set to create this clean and simple scene.  I actually used the pop-up base die to make a mask for the window.  I used mostly white elements to make the gold accents pop.  This was so fun to make!

Stay tuned this week for more Concord and 9th creations!

A Valentine with some Shine!

The December Glimmer Hot Foil Kit at Spellbinders is another fun 0ne.  I love all the hearts, sentiments and coordinating dies included this month...

Spellbinders

I hot foiled the heart and banner sentiment and then cut out each with its coordinating die.  I added them to a pink card base and then tucked in the little flowers and leaf dies that also come in this months kit.

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!

Happy Christmas...

Hi friends!  Have you seen Simon Hurley's products over at Spellbinders?  He has an amazing line up that you will want to check out.  Stamps, dies, hot foil plates, Lunar Paste....all fun stuff!  Today, I wanted to use his new stamp set called Folk Art Ornaments and so I sat down and put this card together...

Spellbinders

First up, I hot foiled the Geometric Diamond Hot Foil Plate to create the base of the card.  Next, I used a rectangle die on card panel to create the frame.  Using my favorite Foam Strips EVER...from Scrapbook.com....I added those to the back of the frame to pop it off the card.

I chose 3 different ornaments from the stamp set and heat embossed them onto 3 gorgeous cardstocks from Concord and 9th.  I added a little ink blending at the bottom of each to give them some contrast.  (All colors linked at the end of my post).  After popping each ornament up on foam squares, I hot foiled the sentiment, Happy Christmas, with silver foil and added that in.  This was so easy to make and so much fun!

The Greetery All Wrapped Up Release...

Hello friends!  I hope that you have a chance to sit down, grab a up of coffee and settle in because I have lots to share today.  The Greetery's All Wrapped Up Release goes live tomorrow, November 22nd at 10am EST so today we are all here to share all the amazing new products.  This release focuses on some new tools to add fun details to your gifts but these same products work great for card making too!

Keep scrolling to check out all my projects, the details about the giveaway and a full list of places to stop. Don't forget to leave a comment on each stop for more chances to win!

The Greetery

There are so many fun new dies and 2 new stamp sets.  In this first photo, you will see the Crimped Circle Tags along with the Round About Winter Foliage Die to create a fun little gift tag.  I attached it a Kraft paper wrapped gift with a little piece of ribbon from a new die called Ribbon Maker: Small Stripes Die.  These new Ribbon Maker dies are so much fun and, along with The Greetery's new Ribbon Paper Rolls, you can make your own ribbon in several styles releasing tomorrow!

The green tags along the bottom are from the new Tear Strips Tag Stamp Set and Tear Strip Tag Die Set.  The 2 work together to create simple but adorable tags, 4 at a time!  I love that you can make a bunch at once!

In the top right, there are 2 Crimped Circle Tags stamped with the perfect gifty sentiments from the new stamp set called Tagged Elegance.  They fit perfectly on the small circle but also work great for the large.

The Greetery

This next round shows another Kraft wrapped gift with pockets where I tucked away Big Branches: Pine Dies.  These die would look great layered up for card or tags or, in this case, on a gift.  The gift is topped with the most fun Loopy Boy Builder Die.  You can also see a few more of those Tear Strips Tags and then in the top right corner, there are 2 more branches, Big Branches: Eucalyptus Die and Big Branches: Baby's Breathe Die.  More greenery, perfect for decorating any project.

TGAllWrappedUp-LWiThe Greeteryllison4

This next project was made with the new tag die called Banner Gift Tag.  I love how this die works perfectly with the large Crimped Circle Tag.  I popped it up here with some foam tape and added in the die cut letters to coordinate with these tags below....

The Greetery

I created more Tear Strips Tags and put them all in a clear tube to create the perfect little crafty gift!

The Greetery

The Round About Winter Foliage Die works perfect when layered together to create a little wreath.  I wanted to keep this card clean and white, so I added a little washi to the card base, popped the tags up on top and then stamped the sentiment in the center cut out of the Foliage die and popped it up in the middle. Super easy!

The Greetery

The last project I want to share today combines several of the new Big Branch Dies, along with the new Dried Citrus Slices....

The Greetery

Using the A2 Arches Die Set, I created a little banner.  With the coordinating Arches Stencil Set, I added some color to each panel and then built up the decor with several of the new dies and some cinnamon sticks.

I created a place card to coordinate with the banner using the same supplies....

The Greetery

This is the perfect way to leave a note for each guest coming to dinner.

A little info about commenting here on my blog....

My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam.  The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out.  If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok!  I will see it and I will get it posted for you.

The other issue is wether or not you need a google account.  I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain.  If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner!  I am sorry for the annoyance.  I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should.  I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again... Blogger is a pain.
