MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge...

I can't believe I haven't posted in a week!  I have been SO busy with some orders and helping with band camp that I have hardly been in my craft room.  But I had to stop back in for this week's MFT sketch Challenge because it is so much fun.  AND I took a ton of creative license with this one.  I basically used the angle in the corner and then just kept going from there.  :)

So here is today's card....

I did some stenciling in the background and then added the whole front panel with the Stitched Cloud Edge Dies.  

 

I added in a line of Scor-tape and glitter across the top, 2 little fishtail strip ends along the top and then that fabulous sentiment in the middle!  I also added some Nuvo drops for one last detail.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge...

Happy Wednesday!  Its time for a new sketch challenge over at MFT.  I used this week's sketch to create a whimsical, cloud filled card with just a little pop of color!

First off, I added some blue ink blended in to the card base to create the background sky.  I added 2 layers of Stitched Cloud Edges for the main sketch element.  

Next, I tucked in that adorable rainbow, from Fairy Tail Friends, behind the clouds.  Using a sentiment strip, I added in the sentiment also from Fairy Tail Friends  across the top.  Last detail was a few clear drops on the card front.

The Greetery Mini Release...

Hi friends!  The Greetery is having a little Mini Release packed full of awesome!  I wanted to stop in today and share a couple cards using the new dies.  All the new dies being release, coordinate with June's release.  Stunning new sunflower dies, Crimped Frame dies that add the perfect detail to any card, an awesome greenery set to go with the pots.....the perfect additions to the existing sets!  Let's get started!

First up Bontanicuts Sunflower Dies and Crimped Frame Dies....

I grabbed the middle sized frame die and die cut it in white card stock.  I blended in some teal ink around the frame.  I used different color yellow card stocks along with some yellow ink blending to create the blooms.

After layering them on the card front, I stamped the sentiment from Just Mason Around Stamp Set.  These flowers are AMAZING and so easy to cut and put together!

The Macro-Made Filler Dies are new to this release as well.  

I used the Macro-Made For You Die first for the hanger and the pot.  Next, I cut the greenery from the Macro-Made Filler Dies.  I put those together with some liquid adhesive.  Next, I heat embossed the Simple Things sentiment on some vellum and then attached to it one of the Crimped Frame die cuts.  

I popped the vellum frame up on foam tape and then attached the die cut focal point to the front.  So simple and clean!

MFT July Card Kit Release...

Yay!  Its Release day over at MFT.  Their monthly Card Kit is now available for purchase.  I have one last card to share for the countdown.  One more clean and simple with an 80's feel!

To create this card, I hot foiled, with gold foil, the martini glasses on the white cardstock.  I stamped the Cheers sentiment and then added the striped die cut glasses up on foam tape.  I adhered the white card front to the ink blended, ombre pink card base.  

Last, I added in some clear drops for a fun little detail.  You can see the gold foiled links just under the martini die cut here....

Altenew July 2019 Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

This first card shows the new Beach Towel Stripes Stencil.  If you know me and you know my cards....you know I adore this stencil.  I want to use it on every card!  :). 

I blended in Limestone ink on the card base and then did a little copic spritzing.  I added in the Handpicked Bouquet bloom for a pop of color.  I finished it off with a sentiment and some black enamel drops.

This next one is called Doily Frame Stencil....

I added some Coral Bliss and then some Gold Delicata on this amazing frame.  

I splashed in some white and black pain drops and then finished the card off with the Fancy Hello die.

Another new stencil that is SO adorable is called Stencil Bubble Wrap.

I love this big polka dot stencil.  So easy to color up and I love how the circles add dimension.  

I finished the card off with a sentiment from Crafty Friends and the Fine Alphabet to spell out the word Create.

MFT Card Kit Countdown Day 2...

Welcome to day 2 of the MFT Card Kit Countdown for July!  This months card kit, Let's Toast (Withe a Twist), is so much fun with a stamp set, wine glass dies and an interactive die set.  

I wanted to make an easy card for a celebration so I pulled out the Card Sized Confetti Stencil to create a little bubbly....

I used some Nuvo Glimmer Paste to create the bubbles.  I love the glittery look!

I die cut 2 wine glasses and popped them up on foam tape and then added in the sentiment to finish it off.  Easy peasy!
