Spellbinders has recently released a new collection by Sharon Powell called Happy. It is a gorgeous grouping of Glimmer Hot Foil plates and die sets.
I chose the Glimmer Plate called Birthday Banner to use for today's card....
To create this card, I grabbed some Pink Hot Foil and covered this plate. If you are new to hot foiling, all you need the the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System and a coordinating die cut machine. The hot foil plates heats up the Glimmer Plate and then when you run it through your die cut machine, it leaves an amazing foiled image. Its super easy! I added the foiled image to a white card stock rectangle after adding in some sliver thread. I found a matching piece of patterned paper in my stash and added in some white paint droplets around the front of the card. I attached the foiled panel to the card base with foam tape for a dimensional look.
