MFT Color Challenge #114...

Welcome to the newest Color Challenge at MFT.  This week's colors are so pretty!  

I instantly saw a fun version of a rainbow so here is what I came up with....

I used the End of the Rainbow Die and just cut out the 4 challenge colors.  I added the rainbow to the front of the card base and then topped it off with the larges Rectangle Frame Die.  I used the cloud from the rainbow die set and stamped the sentiment in black ink.  I popped the cloud up on foam tape and added in a little heart above the sentiment.

MFT Card Kit Countdown Day 1...

Happy Kit Release Day!

Here is one more easy peasy treat bag to show you, using the new Treat Bag Topper Kit available now at MFT!

To create this card, I stamped a piece of aqua cardstock with the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Background stamp.  I used that piece to cut the topper die.  I added it to a treat bag filled with chocolate eggs.  Last, I added the Cottontail Cutie to the topper for a fun little Easter treat.

MFT Card Kit Countdown Day 2...

It's day 2 of the March Kit Countdown.  This month MFT is releasing an adorable die, paper and bags.  With this kit, you will have everything it takes to make your own adorable treat bags!

I found this chevron bag in my stash and had to use it for today's project.  I filled the bag full of Hershey's kisses and added the topper...

This topper was so simple to make.  I die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment and added it to the topper die.  I attached it to the bag using ATG so there is no staple to hide.  I finished it off with a pink bow!

Mixed Tape...

I have the most clean and simple card in the history of ever.  

White Cardstock

Picket Fences Mixed Tape Love

Versafine Black Onyx Ink

and done.

I stamped the image in the center of a white card base after doing a little masking.  I masked off part of the sentiment that said "if I knew how".  Now I will be dating myself but I can totally rock a mixed tape.  And make one!  I just love this image and the fun handwritten font.  This would be a fun guy card for sure.  Very clean and masculine!

So that is it for now.  Picket Fences is a new to me company and I really love what I see!  And have you seen those brushes?  FAB!

MFT Kit Countdown Day 1...

It's time for the March MFT Kit Countdown!  This month's kit has an adorable die includes as well as a beautiful rainbow of paper and even some clear bags. The kit will be available on Tuesday, March 26th but until then we get to share some sneak peeks!  

I used the just the die from the kit for my popcorn project today....

I used the red and white stripped paper from the MFT Proper Pinstripes paper pack and created popcorn bag toppers.  I filled each bag with the snack and then added the toppers.  I used the Stitched Alphabet Dies to add in the popcorn label.  So quick and easy!

Thanks friend {Spellbinders}...

Hey friends!  I am here today with a new set of dies from Spellbinders that is seriously CUTE!  It's called Drive Thru!

This card was super simple to create.  I die cut all the pieces at once and then did a little coloring with my Copics.  Easy peasy!!  I die cut a Spellbinders Nestabilities Circle and popped that up on the card base.  I added in the sentiment from Spellbinders clear stamp set Happy Sentiments to finish it up.

Wish Big {MFT Birthday Project}...

Are you ready for a new challenge?  Maybe my favorite kinda of challenge....because its all about Rainbows!  Check it out....

Rainbows are always the right choice — especially for celebratory occasions like birthdays! While we offer a number of options in our selection of stamps and Die-namics that are a literal representation of this iconic imagery, incorporating that cheery color combo can be done in an endless variety of ways. Get creative this month and share your rainbow-inspired birthday cards with us!

I was all in for this one!  I immediately went to the Stitched Rainbow Die-namics and created this...

I grabbed some Sno Cone ink and created some clouds with MFT's Cloud Stencil.  I die cut the card stock and added in a messy rainbow.  Last, I grabbed the Handwritten Happiness sentiment set....which I love....and stamped wish big under the rainbow.  I kept this one super simple so that rainbow would pop!

Here is today's card....

I kept it super simple with a little copic grass.  This look is easy to do!  Just mask off a small section and then pick 2 or 3 green markers to flick to create a little patch of grass.  

I die cut all the flowers in white cardstock and then added color with Copic Markers.  So easy!

CARDS

I have 3 clean and simple card to share today!  Check out the bright colors as you scroll....there is new ink!  And is fabulous!

To create this card, I used the new Bold Bunches and stamped all the new blooms in the new colors.  I love how bright the colors are.  These are definitely a good addition to your ink collection! I added the front panel to a card lined with black and white striped paper and added in the sentiment to finish it off.

The new set called Wallpaper Art is absolutely gorgeous!  

I stamped the leaves directly on the card base and then popped one of the Wallpaper Art blooms up on foam tape.  I love how this bloom looks in black and white.  I added a thank you from the Thank You Builder set to complete the card.

This last card is super simple.  I stamped Thank You from the Thank You Builder card 3 times using my Misti.....

I stamped a bloom from Watercolor Doodles along the bottom to keep in simple.  Again, I added in new ink colors to brighten in up.  I attached the card front to the card base with fun foam for a little dimension.
