Sooooo Nice to know you!

Stopping back in today to share another Concord and 9th card!  There is a stencil set from awhile back that I absolutely fell in love with and had to grab it up!  It's called Petal Pusher.

The Petal Pushers Stencil Pack consists of seven stencils that create various floral designs, that can be used on all kinds of cards and other projects! It coordinates with the Petal Pushers Stamp Set and Petal Pushers Dies. 4.75" X 4.75".

Concord and 9th

The stencils are so easy to blend out with your favorite colors and then cut out with the coordinating die.  To finish this card off, I used a sentiment from the new Happy Rays Stamp Set Bundle and then cut it out with its coordinating dies.

Concord and 9th

That is it for today.  Stop back by tomorrow for a new card.  Yes I am on a roll this week!  :)

SOOO Nice to know you!

I have had so much fun being a guest for Concord and 9th.  It has been a great week and SO fun to use all these amazing new products from their latest release.  I have 2 more cards to share using the new Happy Rays Bundle.  I just LOVE this new Turnabout and all the fun little details it comes with.

Here is my first card.  The sun rays are super easy to stamp out, of course, using that awesome Turnabout Jig.  If you don't own one, you should!  Makes your all your turnabouts come out perfect!  I used the circle dies from the bundle to pop up the center and then added the sentiment, which is also included in the stamp set.  I added the little heart dies, added some glossy accents and then sprinkled on a little glitter to finish off this card....

Concord and 9th

I still have more to share!  So stop back by tomorrow to see another  Concord and 9th creation!

A little Pop-Up Shoppe....

I am here with another day of fun with Concord and 9th!  Today we are sharing the add-ons for the Pop-Up Shoppe Base Dies.  We have the Booke Shoppe and the Bake Shoppe.  Each of them has a set of dies and a cute little stamp set for the perfect sentiments.

My first card is using just the Booke Shoppe dies.  I created another clean and simple scene with a book shelf and some rainbow books.  I added in the little plant, the adorable cat silhouette and the sentiment.

Concord and 9th

For my next card, I made the full Pop-Up Shoppe Base and then added in some cute details from the Bake Shoppe Dies.  All of base is made out of white cardstock and the details are all in gold cardstock.  I had to add in another cat and then finished it off with a coffee sign.  So fun!

I lined all the windows with acetate just for the finished look...

Hello {Concord and 9th}...

Concord and 9th's Pop-Up Shoppe Base Dies are absolutely adorable!!  The actual pop up base is so easy to use but the dies included can also be used to make a simple scene.  Here is today's card...

Concord and 9th

I used the elements in the die set to create this clean and simple scene.  I actually used the pop-up base die to make a mask for the window.  I used mostly white elements to make the gold accents pop.  This was so fun to make!

Stay tuned this week for more Concord and 9th creations!

Yay for Birthday's {Concord and 9th}...

I am so excited to be back with another post for the February Release at Concord and 9th!  Today is all about the birthday's!  I have several cards because I had so much fun playing with all these new goodies.

These first 2 cards use the Birthday's Perfect Pairings dies....

Concord and 9th

First, I used Concord and 9th's amazing cardstock for these coordinating backgrounds.  I cut 1/2" strips and then cut them in half so I had enough for 2 cards.  I simply die cut the Perfect Parings dies in white and attached them to the card fronts.

Concord and 9th

I added the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Let's Party Turnabout. Easy Peasy!

Concord and 9th

This next card features the Let's Party Turnabout.  I love these stamps and how you can create the perfect background every time.

I did a little masking by using an older set from Concord and 9th and then mixed in the Birthday sentiment in the middle.  I added the balloon from the yay for Birthday's set.....

Concord and 9th

The next 2 cards were made from the Yay for Birthday's Bundle.  I couldn't pick a color combo so I thought I would share them both.  I love Concord and 9th's amazing ink.  So bright and colorful!

Concord and 9th

I added black fun foam yay's to the center of each of the big ones.  Definitely an easy card and of course so many color combos to choose from!

Concord and 9th

To create this card, I used the kit inks to stamp this amazing background.  This color combo is amazing!!

Concord and 9th

The dies included are great ones to have in your stash too.  I used the stitched circle to cut out a piece of vellum, I cut the hello in white cardstock and fun foam both for a dimensional sentiment.  Next, I stamped the sentiment block and die cut those with the coordinating strip dies.  I popped them all up on the card front to finish it off.

Thanks so much for coming by today.  Hope you have a great weekend!

Sending Sunshine and Rainbows + VIDEO!

So I am sure by now you have seen the ADORABLE Rainbow Turnabout from Concord and 9th.  Well it came in the mail today and I  got to work.  Unfortunately, I don't have a jig.  I had a homemade jig from a sweet friend....but couldn't find that either.  So after several (as in 12 failed attempts) and an emergency Zoom with my crafty friends.....I was able to crack out several panels that worked out pretty well.  Moral of the story.....you definitely need a jig!

Here is card!

Concord and 9th

After making a homemade jig from a 6"x6" piece of cardstock and getting it lined up, I stamped out the rainbow using the Altenew Inks, Heartbeat, Snapdragon, Sunday and Bamboo. (All supplies linked below)

Concord and 9th

Next, I grabbed this beautiful sentiment from the Brighter Days Stamp set and and heat embossed it on vellum.  I layered that on the rainbow panel and then popped it all up on the green card base.  I used the heart dies from the Brighter Days Die Set and added those to the vellum.

Concord and 9th

ETA:  I figured out a little something to make the rainbow stamping SUPER EASY!  Check it out!

These rainbows are just too cute!

Hope you are all doing well and staying safe!  Are you ready for normalcy like I am?  All I want to do is go to Target but I am staying home, safe with my kids!

Thanks for coming by today.  Have a great day!

Holiday Place Setting Tags...

Yesterday I was a part of an Instagram Hop for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  Head on over to IG and follow me @laurie_willison and you can follow and comment to win prizes.

I thought I would stop in here and share my projects.  These are SO very easy to make!  I love to personalize my table for the holidays and there are 2 products from Concord and 9th that will help you do just that!

To start, I grabbed some mini grapevine wreaths from Hobby Lobby or you can get them from Amazon....links below in my supply list.

You can grab any tag you have for these place setting tags.  I took the Sophisticated Script set and stamped each of my friends names....

Untitled

I took a small piece of red and white striped washi and wrapped the top of the tags.

Untitled

Next, I stacked the tags up and used my Crop-o-Dile to cut holes in the stack of tags.

Untitled

Next, I cut some boughs from the Take A Bough die set.  This die set is SO much fun because you can create your own paper tree.  Or in this case, it just adds a little greenery to the place setting.

Untitled

To finish off the tags, I tied the tag, the boughs and a silver bell to the grapevine wreath with some Lawn Fawn Glitter Twine.

Untitled

Seriously these are just super easy and quick and paired with a fun napkin, your holiday table is sure to look festive!

Don't forget to stop on over to Instagram and find me.... @laurie_willison and follow and comment for a chance to win!  There are lots of prizes to be given away!

So glad you stopped in today! Thanks for coming by!

Hello {Concord & 9th}...

logo_home

Today is my last guest post with Concord & 9th.  I love their stamps and dies and the people! Angie and Greg are the nicest and so fun to work with!

I have a quick card to share using the  Birdie Banner Bundle.  That is an adorable stamp set of banners and birdies and a 2nd alphabet set that coordinates.

IMG_2920

First, I stamped the banner strings and cute little banners, enough to spell out Hello Friend.  I used the solid image to stamp the rainbow colors on each banner.  The clouds in the background were an after thought, so I masked off each banner and then added in some Copic Airbrushing.  I actually got to use a real air brush system with an air compressor.  SO fun!  Thanks to a crafty day with my friend, Lori Craig....the Copic Queen herself!  :)

IMG_2921

Last, I colored a little birdie and added it on to the card.  I popped the card front up on foam and that is it!  This set has so many possibilities and I can't wait to play some more!

Thanks so much for joining me for my Concord & 9th posts.  Hope you have enjoyed them! Thanks for stopping in!  Have a great day!

Concord & 9th hello...

logo_home

Hey there!  I am back today with another Concord & 9th creation.  This time I am using the new Bouquet Die and, of course, that gorgeous Sophisticated Script stamp set.

IMG_2893

I did a little bit of watercoloring first with my Zig markers and then used that cut out the top of the Bouquet Die flowers with that same paper.

I put the flowers out on the card base....

Untitled

Then I took a big piece of Press n Seal and picked them all up at once....

Untitled

Flipping it over, I added Tombow Mono Liquid Glue dots to the back of all the flowers....

Untitled

And then flipped it over right on to the card base.  SO much easier to do this all at one time!

Untitled

Then I trimmed up the edges to make the card front...

Untitled

I added it to the card base with some fun foam...

Untitled

Last, I heat embossed the "hello" on a vellum banner and attached it to the card front.

IMG_2894

This Bouquet die is so pretty as one piece but so much fun to see those flowers separately.

It's Spring Break here at my house so we have lots of fun activities going on.  The kids made a Spring Break list of stuff to do, so it looks like we will be going to the park (a lot) and playing lots of games this next week!

Hope you all have a great weekend! Thanks for coming by!
