Congrats {Simon Says Stamp}...

Simon Says Stamp

Stopping in today with another creation from the new Simon Says Stamp release.  The Sunny Days Ahead release has lots of fun in it so head on over to Simon and check it out!

One of my favorites from this release is this Extra Large Congrats die....

Simon Says Stamp

To create this card, I used my rectangle masking stencil on a white card front.  I lined up the stencil and cardstock in my Misti and stamped Simon's Leaves Background in a light gray ink.  I just love these stencils and how easy they are to mask an area.

Simon Says Stamp

Next, I die cut the congrats shadow in white cardstock and then did someone blending on another panel of white cardstock before die cutting the congrats.  I wanted it to be darker at the bottom and lighter at the top.   After adding the congrats to the card front, I stamped the sentiment from Grad Party along the bottom.

Brand NEW Simon Says!

Simon Says Stamp

The latest Simon Release called Sunny Days Ahead is HERE!  There are some gorgeous new stamps and dies available today.  I wanted to jump on here with a quick card using a new die today.  I will be back later with more for sure!

Simon Says Stamp

This is the new die called Stylized Tulip Die and it is gorgeous!  I love the detailed cut it makes.  I used my Karin markers to make a soft, watercolor background and then popped up the panel on a white card base.  I like to use fun foam behind the panels to give it a solid base.

Simon Says Stamp

Next, I die cut the tulip in white cardstock and added it to the panel.  I grabbed Simon's Handwritten Love to add an adorable sentiment to the front.  I finished off the card but adding a few clear drops on the front.  Super quick and easy!

Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Hydrangea Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Today, Altenew is releasing the new Paint-A-Flower: Hydrangea Stamp Set.  I am hopping along with several amazing card makers so keep scrolling to see the full list of stops.  There are also prizes, so make sure to leave a comment on each stop.

The new paint-a-flower has lots of possibilities for coloring with different mediums, but today I chose to keep it simple....like always!  :)

Altenew

To create this card, I made up a Distress Oxide blended background of purples and blues, and then stamped the hydrangea in white ink.  I went over the top of that with some white ink splatter.

Altenew

I cut the panel at a diagonal and added it to a striped stenciled card panel.  I used Classy Stripes to add a slight purple stripe and attached those to panel together.  Next, I used fun foam and popped the panel up on a card base.  To finish of the card, I did a fun fun foam Hello die cut and then added the heat embossed sentiment along the bottom.  Super simple!

The Greetery Fresh Air Collection....

The Greetery's March Release was amazing!  So many gorgeous stamps but unfortunately, the dies were delayed.  But we have good news! They are available now!

Check out the Greetery Shop by clicking HERE!

Here are 2 quick projects showing some of the latest release.....

The Greetery

This card shows the new die set called Sentiment Starters.  It works well with the Slim Alphabet, or in this case, all by itself!  I used these three dies to make a perfectly simple sentiment.  I used black fun foam backed with double sided adhesive to get this look.

The Greetery

Tip: To get the perfectly lined up image, die cut your blooms and keep them in the negative.  Then line up the stamps in your Misti and add ink.

The Greetery

These blooms from Print Shop: Fresh Florals are so beautiful and so easy to stamp.  I layered them on the card front before putting the sentiment down.  I finished the card off with a few sequins.

The Greetery

This last card showcases the Window Frame die and the Fresh Air Dies, along with The Fresh Air Stamp Set and Brick Layer Dies.

The Greetery

I used the brick layer dies to emboss the background and then added in the window and all the details.  I just love those window panes and the little flower pot.

The Greetery

I finished this card off with an embossed sentiment and some sequins.

Thanks {WPlus9}...

Have you seen WPlus9's latest release?  The stamps and dies are absolutely gorgeous and I just had to place an order!  I got them in the mail and jumped right in and created this....

WPlus9

This stamp set is called The Little Things.  I love the layered stamps and the detail that it creates.  The bird house is 3 easy steps!  The layers give it so much dimension.  I stamped the flowers and the birdhouse and then cut them out with their coordinating die cuts.

WPlus9

I grabbed a lavender cardbase and added in some Classy Stripe Stencil from Altenew.....my favorite Stencil of all time!  Next, I layered 2 of the Lavina Layers Background Die onto the card base.  I added the middle layer of the die cut stamped with a sentiment from the Little Things Stamp Set and then added the die cut images to the card front too.  Super simple but the stamped images give it so much detail.

Spellbinders April 2020 Clubs Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello!  We are hopping today to share inspiration using all of the April Club Kits.  Spellbinders has so many amazing ways to create with their kits.  Today, I am using the Large Die of the Month.  I just adore the Keep on Truckin' Dies and the addition this month.  So many cute details to add to our cards!

Here is my card....

Spellbinders

To create this card, I masked off a rectangle area and then added in some stenciled polka dots.  I used my score board to add a scored rectangle around the masked area.  Next, I built the truck!  I used white cardstock and silver cardstock to add in all the fun details.

Spellbinders

I did some more ink blending to create the cupcake icing and added that on to the cupcake liner and the cupcake.  I love how the cupcake liner has lines to emboss to make the perfect look!  The "birthday" tailgate is so fun in silver.  I tucked in the cupcake into the truck bed and added some flowers from the Floral Hi Dies to give it a little extra color and detail.
