The Greetery Hip Hip Hooray Collection - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of reveals from The Greetery's latest release.  Tomorrow is release day!  Everything you have seen will be available for purchase from TheGreetery.com at 10am EDT.

I have several more clean and simple cards to share today....maybe not specifically simple but definitely leaning more towards my clean card making style.  This first one might be my favorite....

The Greetery

This card was made using the new Takes the Cake stamp + stencil, Banner die and Stand die. To add in some hot foil shine, I used the Glow plate above the cake. This new stamp and stencil combo is absolutlety gorgeous. Not only does it create the perfect cake, it will make a little mini background for other cards as well.

The Greetery

I diverted off the birthday path a little and used one of the new stencil sets called Gifts Galore....and well....made it into a baby quilt!  The fun thing about the Gifts Galore stencil set is that it works perfectly with the Curio: Divider and Details II die.  So I just had to take a left turn and pair it with the Baby Face: Lamb Dies (and Baby Face Sentiments Stamp Set) from last month.  So fun right?

The Greetery

Last up, we have the Hey Cupcake Die Set, the

Sweet & Fancy Labels stamp set and die, and the hot foil plate, mixed in with the Window Dressing Dotted Scallops die. All these combined make the perfect little box of cupcakes!

The Greetery

First I stamped the Sparkler Background Stamp on some coral cardstock.  I die cut all the pieces to create 4 tasty little cupcakes.  All the details to add on top are so much fun!  I gave them each a gold cardstock foil wrapper and added them to the card.  Next, I die cut the Window and popped it up on foam tape.  This would make the perfect shaker card, but I left mine open.

The Greetery

To finish off the card, I used the Sweet and Fancy Labels Hot Foil Plate to create a little embossed label for the "box".  It was so easy to make by die cutting the frame first, then running it through with my embossing mat to create this amazing dimension.
I stamped the sentiment to finish it off!

My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam.  The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out.  If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok!  I will see it and I will get it posted for you.

The other issue is wether or not you need a google account.  I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain.  If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner!  I am sorry for the annoyance.  I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should.  I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again...

The Greetery Hip Hip Hooray Collection - Day 1

The Hip Hop Hooray Collection is almost here!  The latest Greetery release will be available Wednesday, April 26th at 10am EDT!  We get to share the release ahead of time with projects today and tomorrow.

This month's release is all about birthdays.  And in pure Betsy fashion, she has thought about every detail!  I have 3 projects to share with you today so lets get started!  Don't forget to read till the end, where you will find details on the giveaways and the full blog hop list.  Don't forget to leave a comment on each stop along the way for more chances to win!

The Greetery

This card was so easy to create using the All Aglow Stencil combined with the All Aglow Die.  I added the stencils directly to the card base after hot foiling that beautiful sentiment at the top of the card.  Next, I die cut and stenciled the other candles, stamped the the sparkles and then popped the candles up with foam strips.

The Greetery

This next card features the latest Tear Strips....but this time we have banners!  I love this new die set which continues to coordinate with all the Tear Strip stamp sets previously released.  This gives so much more life to an already amazing line!

The Greetery

I stenciled the candles this time, directly on to the card base.  After adding in all the parts, I scored a 1/2" frame around the front.

The Greetery

Using small foam squares, I attached the ends of the banners so the centers would pop up!

The Greetery

Also had to get a quick shot of the little glowing circles.  I used my spray glitter while the stencil was in place to add in some sparkle!

The Greetery

This last card showcases the new Make a Wish Die and the new Sparkler Background Stamp.

The Greetery

This card was so fun to make!  I stamped the Sparkler Background onto a piece of teal cardstock.  Net, I die cut the Hidden Message Die (more on that tomorrow).  Using gold cardstock, I added in the coiled center frame from Frosted Frames.  The Make A Wish die worked perfect to cover the little hidden door!  I love the large sentiment and the font!

(Watch for the hidden message tomorrow on my instagram @laurie_willison)

Congrats {Spellbinders}...

Have you seen the new Stylish Ovals release over at Spellbinders?  There are SO many cute new dies and hot foil plates to check out.  I am using a couple of them in today's card!

Here are the products I used on today's card...

Essential Stylish Oval Etched Dies

Stylish Oval Hello You Floral Dies

Seahorse Floral Hot Plates

Geometric Diamond Background Glimmer Plate

Spellbinders

To create this card, I die cut the largest over and created a gray card base.  I love that the biggest die is the perfect A2 card size!  Next, I hot foiled the Geometric Diamond Plate onto white card stock and then cut that out with a smaller Oval die.  I added a layer of fun foam between the card base and the foiled panel to create a little dimension.

Next, I die cut all the parts to this gorgeous little flower stem Stylish Oval Hello You dies.  I just love those blooms!  After arranging them onto the card front, I added in the Congrats sentiment from the Seahorse Floral set.

Spellbinders

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!

Spellbinders Seahorse Kisses...

Spellbinders has teamed up with the amazingly talented, Dawn Woleslagle, to create a new line called Seahorse Kisses.  Today I am using the main Hot Foil image from the Seahorse Floral Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set....

Spellbinders

To create this card, I scored a white card base every 1/2' to give the background a little detail.  Then I hot foiled the plate onto teal cardstock.  I used the Moondust foil for this and it is just gorgeous!  To finish off the card, I die cut the "thanks" die from Yana's Layered Script Sentiment Die set in gold cardstock and then added a few clear drops.  Super simple!
