This year has been AMAZING!!! So many changes and new opportunities! I have made so many fantastic blog friends and I am so grateful for all of you! Here is a thank you card just for you and all the support you have given me over the past year!!

I was so inspired by Joy and Brit to pull out my Hero Arts stamps! So I did! :) I love this flower and this little Thank you background! I used that handy dandy Stamp-A-Ma-Jig again! WOW do I love that thing! I still fell like someone should have told me how nice this little tool is to have around! LOL!

So here is a Joy/Brit/Hero Arts inspired card...

The kraft corrugated piece is a coffee sleeve from Starbucks!  Cute huh? I love those things!

Happy Birthday Blog Hop!

I love these sentiments from Verve! They are so much fun! I just won this set last week!

The background of the gray piece is the new Music IP from PTI! I just smeared black ink all over it and then ran it through my Big Shot! I know I am going to use that IP alot! :)

My first Colour Q Challenge!

I have several blog friends who have been playing along with the Colour Q challenges lately!   I have been seeing some amazing color combo's and so I had to go and check it out! Here are this weeks Colour Q colors...

And here is my card....

These color are gorgeous but were definitely a challenge for me!  They work so well together though!  Once I picked my layout, they just fell together!

So here are 8 things about me:

1. I am a mom to a 6 year old and a very energetic 2 year old!  This takes up most of my day!  LOL!
2. I am an RN at a local clinic where I do Pre-Employment Physicals for companies in our area and I work 1 to 2 days a week!
3. Singing is NOT one of my talents, but I have been known to jam it out in the car!  Luckily my kids like loud music too!  (I love George Strait, Zac Brown Band, Miranda Lambert, Chris LeDoux...they go everywhere with us too!)
4. I am a neat freak.  Although this is really hard with that energetic 2 year old I mentioned above!
5. I really really want to move back to Colorado!  The only thing stopping me is my husband.  Someday I will change his mind!  (He has started to bend a little already although he has lived in the same 5 mile radius his entire life so I know it may be traumatic to him!  He will be OK though! hehe!)
6. I love pizza!  Way too much! 
7. I started scrapbooking in 1998ish.  I have been hooked on paper every since!  My friend Jen got me started with stamping in 2007ish.  I can't seem to stop!  It's an addiction!
8. I am a Christian!  We try to make God first and foremost in our family and home!

So next, I am supposed to "pay it forward" to bloggers I have recently discovered!  This is a hard one because there are so many crafty people out there!  I will pass this on to:

Cristina-She has a style that I LOVE LOVE!  Her cards are always stunning!  I love seeing what she has new everyday!

Brit-The sweets girl in the world!!  Her creations, both cards and layouts, are always so fun!  She has amazing videos over at her blog!  You must go and check her out! Me and Brit may or may not have a little something up our sleeves for the near future! ;)

Danielle-I recently found Danielle's blog and have been head over heals ever since!  Her coloring is amazing!  The CAS style of her cards is just gorgeous!!

DeNami Sneak Peeks!

Welcome to the first day of DeNami Sneak Peeks!  Stop by the DeNami blog to see the Spring/Summer 2011 Release Video!   You can also follow along with the whole release HERE!

I am so excited for my first DeNami DT post!  I have several super cute stamps to show you today!! 

Here is my first card!  This is "Sweetheart Mimi"!  I colored her with Copics and cut the image out using a rectangle Nestie!  In the background you can see those adorable little hearts!  That is the new "Teeny Heart Background" stamp, stamped in Versamark!  The sentiment, Happy Valentines Day,  is also a new image that you can purchase very soon!

My next card uses the new Small Scallop Heart and Small Heart Outline!  They are so cute cut out and stacked up!  I used the Teeny Heart Background on each of the heats and then colored them with a Clear Spica pen!  I used the same Happy Valentines  Day sentiment again on this card!

For my last sneak peek, I used the new "Puppy Love Circle"!  Such an adorable image!!  I cut out the center and and popped it up on pop dots and then centered it back on the circle!  I used Teeny Hearts Background here again, this time scoring above and below with my Scor-Pal!  I added some glitter around the main circle too, just for a little bling!

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas!  Mine was great except for being sick!  NO fun!  I had a chance today to make a card in the middle of everything going on so I thought I would stop in and share!  I am playing along with Stacey's color challenge today!  I thought these colors were so fun!!  I just had to give them a shot!

The frame is from MFT and the sentiment is PTI!  They go perfect together!

So that is all for today!  Just a quick post for me so I can get back to the couch!  My sister got me hooked on Lifetimes Christmas movies!  And yes...sniff, sniff...she is gone back to Colorado!  I am sooo going to miss her!!

Here is my take...

You will have to tell me what you think about the polka dotted mug!  It's one of those things that you stamp and put together and then take a picture and then kinda change your mind!  I am thinking it should be a solid mug?  Tell me what you think!

So today, we are sitting in front of the fire!  Watching movies and hanging out!  We have the in laws Christmas tonight and then tomorrow my family Christmas!  Should be lots of fun!

A Valentines Day card....

Yes I know it is not quite Valentines Day yet!  BUT I have a quick and simple, 2 minute Valentines Day card!  Really...this took 2 minutes!  Cardstock, Stamp set, ink and Scor-Pal!  Simple as that!

Score lines do so much for the card!  I love that tool!

And that is it!  It helps that this new PTI set is FABULOUS!

Just here today with a quick one! This is my friend Jen's favorite color combo...or one of her favorites...so every time I use it I think of her!

Here is the card...the pic is a little dark just so you can see that white flourish on the front!

I had to add some more detail by using the text IP from PTI!

And of course a little Dark Chocolate Swiss Dot Satin! (I know I always say I have favorites of everything but this really is my favorite ribbon! I have to restrain myself from putting it on EVERY card!)

So that is it for today! My mom and sister are on their way here now for a day of baking! OH, I have to share one more pic....some of you PTI'ers will laugh at this one....

This is B with his favorite car...parked in his garage complete with a driveway....basically a PTI treat box with my embossing pad!  He was so quiet and this is how I found him!  I had to laugh that out of all the toys in his toy room, he finds stuff on my table to play with!

I was over the moon excited when Paulina emailed me and asked me to be apart of their team!  It has been so hard to keep this secret for the last several months!!  I know the next 6 months are going to be alot of fun!  I am in the company of some amazing stampers!  Check out Paulina's post HERE to meet the rest of the girls!

Beautiful To Me and a Giveaway!!

TGIF right?  So excited for the weekend!  We don't have anything planned FINALLY and it will be nice to hang out and try to get some stuff done! 

So, I am here today with my first ever published card from Paper Crafts Magazine!  I was so excited when I sent in this card at the last minute and got an email 2 days later! 

This card was the first time I used a doily on a card!  Such a fun look!  The "Beautiful to Me" card is from My Minds Eye!  When I found them at an LSS in Wichita, I had to stock up!  The rose is handmade using the Marvy flower punches!  So easy to make!

You're Sew Lovely...

Now that my sister and I are "sew" in the sewing mood, I had to make a card and sew on it!  I bought this fabric to make some camera straps!  (Yes Sue Ann...I am FINALLY getting to that from WAY back in June!!)  And I loved it so much I just had to add it to a card!  So here is my card....

Adding a piece of fabric to a card goes perfectly with this Lawn Fawn set!  I just love it!  You can't see it in the photo but I added some clear Spica to the spool of thread!  It gives it a little pop!

Tonight is Third Thursday in Hutch!  If you are in the area, come down to the Brick House!  I will have my cards for sale!

Cutie Patootie Coffee Cozy's!

So my sister is here from Colorado!  She gets to hang out with me till Christmas!  I am sooo excited to have her here!  I told her that while she was here we would do lots of fun stuff!  (It is way more exciting where she lives so I have to keep her busy!)

So here is one project we have been working on!  Aren't they cute?

We have made TONS of these!  I am loving the colors and all the patterns!

And I think they will be really fun to give as Christmas gifts!

And they look super cute on your coffee cup!  Environmentally friendly...Washable....keeps your coffee warm...how much better does it get?

 I love black and white and red AND damask....If you follow my blog you already know that! :)
