Hey There Card Kit from Taylored Expressions....

Hey there!  (I crack myself up!)  The Taylored Expressions Hey There Kit is releasing today!  It is an amazing kid with lots of fun details to create an amazing sentiment!  I have 2 cards to share today so let's  get started!

This kit includes a stamp set with different "Hey There" images that will let you create different looks.  There are stencils that coordinate to add the perfect color to each letter and then an awesome sunray stencil to add to the background.

I created this first one in rainbow colors and then die cut the sentiment with the coordinating die.  I popped the sentiment up with black fun foam and then added the panel to a white card base. 

This next card was created using the Rectangle Masking Stencil (not included in the kit) for the background.  I stamped the solid Hey There and then added pops of color with the stencil.

There is another sentiment set included in the kit with the most adorable sentiments.  I added one under the Hey There to finish off this card.

My heart is with you {STAMPtember}...

One of my favorite things about a stamp set is the font.  I am not a basic block font fan so when I see these gorgeous handwritten fonts, my heart skips a beat.  The set called Sympathy Greetings Mix from Simon Says is absolutely gorgeous and full of amazing sentiments in the most beautiful fonts!

I kept this card very clean and simple by stamping the sentiment on a white card front.  I paired it with Simon's Etched Laurel Dies for a super soft look.  I added just a tiny bit of ink blending to the centers of the white die cuts.

 

I used liquid glue on the centers and stems of the card so after attaching them, the leaves could be lifted a little bit for some dimension.  After the card front was all done, I added it to a white card base with a panel of fun foam.

Spellbinders September Clubs Blog Hop

Good morning!  I am so excited to be hopping along with a group of amazing crafters today to share with you all the September Club kits at Spellbinders.  Today I wanted to share another card using the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit.  I just love this adorable little rainbow and all the details included.  Keep scrolling to see my project and also read up on a quick recap of Hot Foiling.  There are also prizes and a full blog hop list below.

I created a quick, clean and simple card using this adorable rainbow and one of the awesome sentiments.  

To create this card, I used purple tape and layered the glimmer plate and Gold Foil to the front of a white card stock panel.  After foiling the sentiment, I scored 1/2" all around the front. 

Next, I took each part of the rainbow and foiled 4 different color of cardstock to create the rainbow.  I used the coordinating die cut to cut each piece out, along with a fun foam backing for each piece.  I adhered each color to the fun foam and popped them up under the sentiment.  Last, I added a tiny little heart to finish off the card.

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

So once the platform and your glimmer plate heat up, you add in the foil and the cardstock and run in thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock is just gorgeous!

It's Fall at Taylored Expressions!

Good morning!  Are you so excited to see the latest release from Taylored Expressions?  This gorgeous fall release is filled with the most adorable stamps and dies to create the perfect Autumn cards.  I have 2 cards to share today using a couple of my favorites from this release.  

First up, the new Fall Foliage Background.  I kept this super quick and simple to let this amazing background shine through!

First, I stamped the background stamp in Chocolate Truffle.  This lays down all the leaves/stems.  Next, I used the series of 3 stencils that come with the stamp to create the colorful variety of leaves.  Its so easy to use!  I added the panel to a white card base and then added Glossy Accents to each of the little dots in the background.  I used my Raspberry Sorbet Cube to swipe some ink on a piece of cardstock to create a little distressed panel.  I added another strip of cardstock underneath where I swiped some Chocolate Truffle.  Last, I stamped a sentiment from Handlettered Thanksgiving and cut it out with its coordinating die cut.  I added the sentiment to the card front with foam squares and then added some glossy accents to the lettering.

This next card showcases the new Modern Tree Stamp and Stencil Set...

I used the Grass Stencil from the Farm Fresh kit to add little color to the bottom of the card front.  Then I stamped the tree in Chocolate Truffle.  I used the Stencils that come with the set to add in the colorful leaves.  I added Glossy Accents to the dots like I did in the first card and then finished it off with a sentiment from the Building Blocks Stamp Set.

Altenew Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Here is my card using the new Mighty Corners Stencil....

This card was super easy to make!  I masked and blended up a rainbow using my favorite Altenew Inks.  The angle of the stencil made it super easy to mask and blend!

Next, I cut a rectangle out of the center and and then popped it up with fun foam in the center of the card.  Last, I stamped the perfect sentiment from the Altenew stamp set called Crafty Life.  I love that stamp set and all the crafty sentiments included!

All the cake! {Spellbinders}...

Hello crafty friends!  I am stopping in today with the Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders.  You guys.  This die set is ADORABLE!!  Check it out.....

To create this card, I grabbed some pink cardstock and scored a 1/2" frame around the front.  I masked it off with washi tape and then added in a little polka stenciling.  

Next, I built the most adorable rainbowy cake!  The Large Die of the month comes with several sentiments to fit into each layer.  Its so fun to put together.  There are also several toppings, including fruits and candles!  I added the whipped cream dollop on the op and tucked in the cutest strawberry.
