Let's get started with today's cards! This first project was made using 2 new products:
Grand Finale Die and Stencil
Land of Liberty Stamp Set and Die Set
To create this card, I first used the large background die on a piece of vellum. I added the red color with a blending brush on top of the stencil that comes in the set. After laying in the little glittery pinwheels and bottle rockets to the vellum, I layered the full panel on a piece of blue cardstock. I love how the cutouts add the blue color of the cardstock shing through! Next up, I stamped an heat embossed the beautiful sentiment from the Land of Liberty Stamp Set and cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped up the sentiment with some foam tape to give the card a bit of dimension.

This next card was created using these new products:
Land of Liberty Stamp Set and Die Set
Wave the Flag Border Die
Star Stream Die
Star Stream Hot Foil Plate
First up, I used red hot foil and the Star Stream Hot Foil Plate to create the shiny design on the car base. Next, I die cut the Star Stream card front die. They line up pefectly so you can see the hot foil right through! I die cut the flag and added it to the top of the card and then heat embossed the sentiment in gold. I love the open dies for these intricate sentiments because they cut so perfectly!

The last card for today includes:
Star Stream Embossing Folder
Star Stream Stencils
Star Stream Sentiments Stamp Set and Die Set
This one was fun to make! I actually did the stenciling first using just 2 colors. I did red and blue ink. A lighter version for the strips and a heavier had with the stars. I used that panel and put it through my die cut machine with the new embossing folder. It is so hard to photograph but the dimension is really fun in person! I added three strips of cardstock to adhere my sentiment and then added in the star dies to finish it off!

A little info about commenting here on my blog....
My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam. The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out. If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok! I will see it and I will get it posted for you.
The other issue is wether or not you need a google account. I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain. If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner! I am sorry for the annoyance. I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should. I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again...
Blogger is a pain.
