Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Dahlia Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi friends!  Altenew has a gorgeous new Craft-A-Flower releasing today.  If you are new to Altenew and the Craft-A-Flower, this new die set is a layered die set that creates the most gorgeous blooms by layering different colored cardstocks.  All you need is the die set, your favorite colors of cardstock and a die cut machine to create these blooms.

Today we are all hopping to share lots of Dahila inspiration.  My projects are next, but keep scrolling for the prize information and a full list of stops to make on today's hop.

Here is my card for today....

Altenew

To create this card, I lined the white card base with the Brushed Grid Washi tape from Altenew.  It is all I can do to not put this washi on every card I make.  I just love the simple background it makes!  I did leave about 1 1/2" on the top of the card for my stamped sentiment.  This sentiment is from the latest Build-A-Flower: Primrose stamp set.

Altenew

Altenew has the perfect cardstock sets that work with the Craft-A-Flower Dies.  Each pack has multiple colors that are easy to layer up.  I used the Red Cosmos pack for today's card.   I die cut some leaves with some green cardstock I had on hand and then simply layered all the pieces together using liquid glue.  I spritzed some white paint over the bloom along with some Glitter Dust Spray for some shine.

Altenew

Check out the bundle available from Altenew.  It is the full die set, plus 2 cardstock sets.  These sets are the perfect match up to the layering dies.  All the cardstock you need is there to make the colorful blooms and leaves!
