Hello! Welcome to the Have a Heart Collection Showcase. The Greetery has an amazing new release coming to you tomorrow at 10am EST time so for now, lets check out all the new goodies! I will also be doing an Instagram Live over at The Greetery at a new time....7pm central, so come stop by and say hi!
Let's get started. My first clean and simple card uses the new die called Hearts at Home: Mug Dies. These adorable little mugs are so easy to put together and and in all the fun little touches, including the marshmallow dies, to create an easy project!
After coloring the mugs up with some Copics, I added them to the card with foam squares and then stamped the coordinating sentiments from the Hearts at Home Sentiment Stamp set. I love all the stamp sets that coordinate with this new line of dies. Be sure to check out the Toaster, The Light Bulb, The Clock and The Sweater. So cute!
There are 2 new Ribbon Maker dies this month. We have the Ribbon Maker: Scalloped Hearts Die and the Ribbon Maker Heart Strip Die. There are even 2 new colors of that amazing Ribbon Paper Betsy brought us for Christmas....Pink and Lilac.
One of my favorite things to do is make Valentines for teachers to pass out to their class. Teachers have so much on their plate so every year, I pick a teacher and make around 24 fun little treats. I have this years all picked out! When I saw that Scalloped Heart Ribbon Maker Die I knew the die cut ribbon paper would make the perfect treat wraps. I added in a heart from the Shapley Hearts Die set, along with a Tear Strip Tag die.....and the brand new Tear Strip Tag Sentiment Set. I just love how fast these little tags come together and by cutting off the little tag hole, they make the perfect sentiment strips!
I love a large die to create the perfect focal point, especially for a clean and simple card. The next card showcases the Heart Arrow Die. This die could be used several different ways to create many looks but I used it to inlay the red glitter heart into the pink frame. So easy!
The sentiment is from the Hot Stuff Sentiments and the Hot Stuff Sentiment Dies. Love that you can pop them up!
You know I love mixing old and new and I wanted to make a coordinating envelope for the card, so I went back and grabbed the
Stationary Box Die released last year and created the perfect flat envelope.....
I decorated the
Postal Frame Die cut with the
Pretty Postage Stamp Set and then added the Heart Arrow Die on Top. I made a little envelope closer using the Ribbon Maker: Heart Strip Die and cut out 2 little hearts. So fun!
The card fits perfectly into my little modified
Stationary Box turned envelope!

A little info about commenting here on my blog....
My comments are moderated because I get a ton of spam. The kind of spam that tells me about cholesterol medication, among others, and just weird bot comments so I filter those out. If you leave a comment and don't see it, thats ok! I will see it and I will get it posted for you.
The other issue is wether or not you need a google account. I have my comments set to "anyone" so technically you should be able to leave a comment with any type of login, but Blogger is a pain. If you can't leave a comment and are not sure if you your name is posting along with your comment, please add your name and email address to the end of your comment. This way we can see who you are if your comment gets chosen as a winner! I am sorry for the annoyance. I have no idea why it doesn't work like it should. I have googled and switched settings around and tried all the things but again... Blogger is a pain.
