It's time for camp. For me. Not my kids! :)
So about an hour ago, I decided to take this class after talking to my friend Suzanne about it several times. Our summer schedule is about to slow down into the month of July, so I thought why not? :) I participated in the first summer card camp and learned so much! So I signed up...and got to work!
Today's cards are made from sketches and colors combos that they have provided for us. Here is my card....
The background layer is embossed vellum. I added in a layer of Hawaiian Shores card stock stamped with Hero Art's Envelope Pattern background. I added in a banner and then sentiments and flowers from WPlus9's new set Fresh Cut Florals.
One of the colors is orange. Orange and me don't get along so well. I always try. But I just can't pull it off. I almost left it off the card but then I decided to use a tiny bit in the flower centers. I also varied a little bit with the yellow and used a super light green color for the leaves.
I'm really glad I signed up and am super excited to have one card done. There is still time to sign up! Click HERE to see all about it.
Thanks for stopping in!
