I just love Amy's challenge this week for the Paper Dolls! Here is what she is looking for:
The Challenge:
1. CAS
2. lots of white space
3. and a pop of color
I knew I could handle that! So here is today's challenge card:
Here is a the crazy thing about the ink on this card! The paper and ribbon are Scarlet Jewel from PTI! I don't have that ink to match so I didn't even think to use this color and originally wanted to use Pure Poppy...my go to color! So I had the card all mapped out and then stamped the image with Pure Poppy! This is what came out! I realized that the last time I stamped this image I had used Palette's Burnt Umber and didn't clean the stamp! (Uggh! I know! I know! I usually clean my stamps!) But playing with that mix some more has given me a perfect Scarlet Jewel match! I just love it!
So, I hope you like it! This really turned out to be a seriously Silke inspired card, from white on white and the pearls! She knows I have a pearl addiction that all started with her! Thanks Silke! ;)
If you have a chance, we would love to have you play along with the Paper Dolls! There are at least 3 challenges still open, so find one you like and jump in!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great week!
