{Hero Arts} Thank you...

Hello there crafty friends!  I am stopping in today with a quick cards using some fabulous Hero Arts stamps and dies.

To create this card: (all supplies linked below)

1.  Fold a 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of cardstock for your A2 sized cradles.  

2. Using a Score Board, score lines on the inside of the card every 1/2" to make the embossed lines on the front of the card.

3. Die cut any circle die and pop it up on foam tape.

4. Using the Misti, line up the images and stamp the flower and leaves.

5. Die cut flower image and leaves and attach to the front of the card.

6. Done!

MFT Release Day!

Canine Companions Stamps and Dies

Here is my card....



I kept this super simple but doing a tiny bit of ink blending in the background with Broken China Distress Oxide.  Next, I die cut Happy Birthday in Black Licorice Card Stock and attached that to the card base.  Last, I added in the sentiment from Canine Companions and popped up the little dog on foam tape.

The MFT Blog will have lots more to see tonight, plus details about the entire February Release.  I'm pretty sure there are prizes over there too!  :)

MFT Countdown Day 1...

Today is the last day of the MFT Countdown.  Tomorrow is release day!!

This card was super simple to create.  I cut a white card stock panel to 4 x 5 1/4" and then did a little balloon stenciling with some Oxide inks. (All inks and supplies linked below) It's so hard to see in the photo, but I sprayed some Glitter Dust all over the card front.  Then I added the hooray die cut in with a layer of fun foam behind it for dimension. 

Today is release day but you will have to wait for 8pm CST to put in your order.  Just a few more hours and then its time to shop!  Head on over to the MFT blog to see more about this months release.

Candy Land....

Hello there!  It's Laurie Willison here, stopping in with a couple of Queen and Co Candy Land cards.  One reason why I love the Queen and Company kits, is because they come with everything you need to make a shaker card, but have so many things included, it all works to make non-shaker cards as well.  

My first card today is a clean and simple shaker card.  I just love how easy these Queen and Company shaker boxes are to put together to make a quick card...

I simply folded a white card base and then rounded opposite corners.  I added in the round shaker boxes, added the toppings and then layered on the acetate and the pattern paper from the pack included in the kit.  I stamped a sentiment from the set onto the card base and then finished off the lolly pops with twine bows.  So easy!

This next card took a little more time bc I did a little die cutting with the lollipop die.



I used white on white here in the background after attached the negatives from the lollipop die to the front of the card base.  I love how it gave it an embossed look.  I used a small piece of pattern paper along the bottom to give it some color.  Next, I did something that I haven't done in ages.  I added a bow to this card!  I tied it up and then added some twine and a little tag for the sentiment.  The sentiments included in the kit stamp set are so cute and perfect for any sweet occasion.

MFT Countdown Day 2...

Hey there crafty friends!  I am stopping in here with another card for the My Favorite Things February Release Countdown.  Today I have a quick and simple card using the new set called Critter Condolences and the Paw Prints Die-namics.

To create this card, I did some ink blending on the card base, starting with a darker brown at the bottom and working up to a lighter shade.  Next, I die cut the largest paw print out of a 4" x 5 1/4" card stock panel.  I attached that to the card front with foam tape so you could see the dimension behind the paw print. 

Next, I die cut a heart from the Tag Builders Die-namic set and attached it inside the paw print.  I covered it in Glossy Accents for a little shine.  

I don't usually leave a card front without a sentiment, but in this case I wanted the paw print to speak for itself.  

I decided to add two of the sentiment from the Critter Condolences set inside the card.  I separated them with a tiny heart stamp from the MFT set called Coffee Date in Red Hot ink.

We have one more countdown day tomorrow and then MFT release day is Tuesday.  Remember everything you have seen this week will be available on Tuesday at pm CST.
