Falling For You...

Today is release day over at Simon Says Stamp.  The new Falling For You release has so many adorable stamps, dies and stencils.  I thought I would stop in and share a few of my favorites.  You can stop back by tomorrow for a HUGE blog hop with lots of my crafty friends.  :)

First off, the new Circle Sayings set?  Adorable!  And I love the circle dies that will work so perfectly with them.  All of those giant background stamps are AMAZING!  My favorite?  The diagonal stripes!  So very versatile.  I adore that that friends die too....must have!  I think the bokeh stencils looks like so much fun as well.  There is so much more to see and you can check it all out

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

I used a fun little set from Penny Black called So Lucky.  I knew this flower image would work perfect with the colors in the inspiration photo.  I stamped 4 of each color, fussy cut like crazy and them used a large size stylus to create a deep center in each flower.  This gave me the fun 3D look.  I attached each flower with a small glue dot and then finished if off with a yellow enamel dot.

PTI Release in Review...

Hey PTI Friends!  Are you enjoying the release this month?  So many fun things that are so easy to use!  Makes my CAS brain so happy!  :)  I love a quick and simple project.  Here is a fun one using the new set called Graceful Greetings....



I paired it with the Noted chevron image and I love how it turned out.

Next up is a card using Petite Places: School.  I added in a couple of the other detail dies from the set and added in some clouds.

Flower Favorites is such a gorgeous new set.  I love these flowers and had to use a little of my Ombre technique here...

I combined Lunchbox Love and Pencil Me in here for a fun kid card....

Just so I could use PTI's lunchbox die, I made one more card....

...and finished the inside too....

And last I made a little apple card with Enclosed Apple and some Chicken Scratch Gingham paper....

Moments Inked Details...

Lots of fun details to share today for the Moments Inked line.  All these planner goodies make me happy!!

So first up is a pen holder with an elastic planner band....



I used the button dies to make the fun little flowers on the front to cover the magnet spots.....

This case will easily hold 3 pens or mechanical pencils.  

This case straps right to the cover of the planner or around the first several months holding my place as a bookmark.  

This month another of my "concepts" came to life.  I knew we all needed a edger die to cut the spiral bound border on anything we may need to keep handy.  Here is my weekly goodies all in the middle...

...and tucked behind my April bookmark is my Old Navy cash.  I always lose this stuff.  I NEVER remember to use it.  Now it is spiral bound and right in the middle of my month!  There is always something I wish I could keep with my dash board and now this new Edger die makes it super simple.  The Edger die also comes with a perorated die.  I have some fun ideas up my sleeve for that die so stay tuned!  :)

Introducing Make it Market Mini Kit: Wee Folk

Good Morning!  Welcome to another Group Post for Papertrey Inks April Release.  I have a few cards to share today all made using Betsy's new kit called Make it Market Mini Kit: Wee Folk.  I don't know about you, but I love these kits.  Its so fun to get everything you need to make some fun cards all in one box.  Not to mention this stuff is adorable!  I have a couple of cards that I stamped and put together and then 2 of the most simple cards you can make.  Let's get started!

This first card uses one of the new GORGEOUS patterned papers included in the kit.  I love love this Ombre pattern.



I used the Hello die from the Noted die set and then stamped a sentiment from the kit next to it.  I used the dies and one of the little printed birds and added it to the card....

This next card showcases another stamped image from the set.  I just love this little deer...

I added in the same sentiment and then added in the welcome.  I finished it off with a little butterfly.  I colored it and the little markings on the deer with some Wink of Stella for a little shimmer.

The card comes with a little paper pack and 2 of the pieces stood out to me and I knew it would work for a CAS card.  So CAS in fact, that there is nothing else to it.  

I took the paper and glued it right down to a card base.  I couldn't mess with this design.  And this is a highlight of this kit for sure.  2 super simple quick cards when you need them.  One for a boy and one for a girl!
