Spellbinders July Clubs Blog Hop...

Hi crafty friends!  Thank you for joining us for today's Spellbinders Club Hop!  There will be lots of inspiration to see....just scroll down for the full hop list!

Each month Spellbinders offers several Club Kits that, with a subscription, are delivered to your door each month.  Here are a list of the clubs to check out....

My 2 favorite are the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit and the Card Kit.  I have enjoyed the Card Kit so much lately.  It is SO easy to create lots and lots of cards very quickly!  And, of course, my favorite is the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit.  There is just something so amazing about adding a little pop of gold foil to your card fronts.  I love the shine!

Today, I combined both kits for a very quick and simple card...

Spellbinders

Using Gold Foil, I added the Dotted Frame on white cardstock and then cut it down to work as the front panel for a SlimLine card base.  Next, I grabbed the stamp set from the Card Kit and added the hello in black ink.  Last, I used the adorable layered butterfly stickers from the Card Kit and added 3 on the card front panel.  Talk about easy!  I love a good quick and simple card!

Are you new to hot foiling?

Spellbinders has a platform called Glimmer Hot Foil System.  This platform heats up metal plates called Glimmer Plates.  These glimmer plates come in ALL different types....sentiments, florals, backgrounds, graphic details etc....and add the most gorgeous foiling detail to your cards.  And the foils?  There are LOTS of different colors to chose from!

Here are some links to help point you in the right direction....

The Glimmer Hot Foil System works great with a Platinum 6 Die Cut machine from Spellbinders but also works with other die cut machines. You can click HERE to see a compatibility chart.

First you heat up the platform and your glimmer plate on the Glimmer System Platform.  Then you add in the foil and the cardstock and run it thorough your die cut machine.  Once you pull off the foil negative, the magic happens!  That foil that is set on your cardstock and the results are just gorgeous!
