Welcome to the June Build-A-Flower Blog Hop! Today we are showcasing the new Tree Peony Stamp Set! If you stopped over to the Altenew Blog, you saw my first creation using this set and now you've made your way down the hop....I have another one to share!
Are you ready for a gorgeous tree peony in full bloom? This set features an outline image and three coordinating coloring layers each for the petals and flower center. The coloring layers have been drawn in detail for stunning realism! We have also included a leaf image (outline + three coloring layers) and a dainty little branch with small buds and leaves. The images are handy for flower arrangements or bouquets on your handmade cards, scrapbook layouts, journal pages, and DIY decor projects. Finally, finish off your project with any of the six sweet sentiments included in the set.
I created a quick and easy card today using the Tree Peony outline for a quick, black and white background.
Next, I stamped up 2 blooms and the leaves from the set. I popped them up on foam tape in the center of the card front. I mounted the card front on a white card base and then added in the heat embossed enactment strip along the bottom. These blooms are so easy to line up and the depth and detail is just amazing!!

ReplyDeleteLove the black and white blooms in the background with the gorgeous pops of color! Beautiful card, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteThe all over black on white peony background reminds me of toile wallpaper and allows the tomato-red, die-cut blooms to shine as the focal point. I would love to receive a gorgeous card like this from a friend!
