Altenew May 2020 Stamps/Dies/Stencils Release Blog Hop + Giveaway


Hello!  We are hopping along today with Altenew and the latest May 2020 Release.   I have a couple projects to share today so keep scrolling.  You will also see the prizes....don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win!  There is a full hop list too, so don't forget to stop in and leave comments along the way!


Here is my first project....

This card uses a new favorite, Shine Like a Diamond.  This amazing background comes with several sentiments and one large sentiment, Shine.  So many possibilities with this set!

First, I heat embossed the background stamp with white embossing powder on black cardstock.  I stamped the beautiful blooms from the new set Flowering Cistus and layered them on to the embossed background.  Last, I added in 2 sentiment strips that I made from Sentiment Strips 2.

This next card was super simple to make!

I used the new set called Blossom Wreath for this card.  I stamped the wreath in black ink, and then added the extra steps in different colors to create the full wreath.

I used the Tall Alpha to add in the Hello sentiment and this finished the card off with a thin gold washi along the bottom of the card.

    The diamond background is just stunning! The layered pink flowers are so beautiful! And the wreath card is so delicate and lovely! I just learned how to "PIN" cards on Pinterest (I know, I am slow!!!) and yours are there on my Altenew board!

    That shine like a diamond background stamp is a show stopper. Your card are from one extreme to another. Bold, contrast and vibrant. To soft subtle and delicate. Love this release.
