I am soooo excited you are here with me today for Round 2 of Gallery Idol! Our theme for this round is all about color, specifically a rainbow/Color my world theme!
First off, here is my Round 2 card...
Here is a little bit about my card. I cut a piece of white cardstock down to 4"x 5 1/4" and masked off a long rectangle with sticky notes. I wanted to use colors that were different from the normal rainbow colors, so I picked 5 of my favorite colors and added them as a unique muted rainbow of their own. After they dried, I stamped text background right on top. I wanted it to have a distress look, so I didn't press down on the acrylic block very hard, leaving some holes in the text here and there. I ran the whole piece of cardstock through my Big Shot wtih the Linen Impression plate. Last, I add my new favorite flourish, some black pearls and a sentiment from Clear and Simples Craft Room set. I added this focal point to a card base with foam tape for some dimision.
And that is it for Round 2! I am thrilled that you could stop by today. I am so honored to be in this amazing group of ladies. They are all so talented and I am sure we are going to be seeing some jaw dropping cards!
