Love the soft pattern papers, Laurie :) The red ribbon and pearls highlights are awesome. Great take on the sketch :)
ReplyDeleteOh...have to take the quiet time while you can get it. I got up early...did some work for my job, took some pics of cards I made yesterday, blogged one of them and went back to bed for a couple hours! Your card is adorable...love the sketch and the cherry paper - perfect with the sentiment! Hope your hubby feels better and that it doesn't move on to anyone else!
ReplyDeleteOh the lovely quiet! When my kids were still little I craved that quiet time and barely breathed so as not to disturb anyone!! Now they are grown and gone and the quiet is available all day every day...sometimes I wish it were full of children's laughter again. But you seized the moment and made a most fabulous card! Love the sentiment. I'd love it if you'd post all your ingredients:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun sketch, I'll try to fit that one in this week. Look at you go with the patterned paper, I think you're hooked! Love the contrasting patterns with the pop of red, so fun.
ReplyDeleteTOO CUTE ..... I love that gingham ..... YUMMY!! Can you tell me what it is like to have quiet ?? That is the only reason I go to the gym ~~ Have a great day LB!!
ReplyDeleteKathy...I know I am so bad about supply lists but I did post one this time! It is below my name and in small print at the bottom! HTH!
ReplyDeleteSue Ann...quiet time only happens during nap time and bedtime! That is MY time! LOL!
Lovely...and I spotted the cherry DP right away!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet creation! I adore cherries & gingham..especially together!
ReplyDeleteHope your clan isn't too sick. Enjoy the quiet while it lasts!
Another beauty to put in my inspiration file for my mammoth task of USING my DP instead of hoarding it!
ReplyDeleteHope the kidlets and DH feel better soon!

I love the sweet country charm this one has. I have a small obsession with cherry themed PP, and have scads of it hoarded away. This card proves that I can haul it out and not be afraid! Perfect.
