So I am playing with the copics again! They still really freak me out. I just can't figure them out. My friend Jen and I took a class too. Well, we learned more "about" them then we did the coloring aspect so maybe that doesn't count. So here are two more small attempts! In real life it doesn't look too bad but now that I have them posted my blending doesn't look the best! I have a goal to keep trying though! Not gonna quit! :)
And another card, same but different colors...
Hope you 4th weekend went great! It has rained here now for 40 days and 40 nights! OK, not really but we did get 6+ inches in less that 48 hours! You really need a boat to get anywhere in Kansas at the moment! I think I can hear it raining AGAIN now! Talk about soggy!!
Laurie, I think you did a wonderful job with the Copics. I took a similar "Learn about your Copics" class and was disappointed because I couldn't care less about the history of the pens! I wanted to play! LOL Anyway, these butterflies turned out very nice... soft and delicate. :) Great job!
ReplyDeleteI think you did great! The simple design of these cards is wonderful and I love how you accented them with gems!
ReplyDeleteI think these are wonderful and the blending is great! I like the additions of the little rhinestones on the background strip! May have to CASE this!

I lived in Lawrence, KS for 9 months or so and, although I really enjoyed my life there, I couldn't understand how people there put up with the weather! Awfully hot in the summer, piercing cold in the winter and very humid! Maybe you are used by now. :)
How beautiful, Laurie. I really love the cards and I think your Copic coloring is great!
ReplyDeleteWhoa. I love these. Seriously love them.
