This one is similar to Kim Hughes' card but I added the blue ribbon ruffle...yes another one! LOL!
This card's inspiration came from one of Erin Lincoln's...(Baylor grad)
This one I am not a fan of! For some reason I couldn't get this one to work out! I am thinking it is the blue! Red and black are easy but when I added in blue it didn't work! Does this mean that maybe I am a K-State Fan? Hmmmmm? Maybe I can make a purple card instead! (The stars are grayed out because they are sparkly IRL! It just didn't show up for the pic!)
I showed a card like this the other day but this one I added the school initials and some sanding on the white core card stock...
So that's it! Just wanted to share! Hope you are having a great day! If you have links to cards you made with this set, link me in your comment! I need to see some more samples! Thanks!
Those look great!!! You lined numbers up perfectly... lucky dog!! :)

ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say hello--and it's a small world! Somehow I stumbled on your blog today and saw the camera for sale and saw that the craigslist said Wichita. Then I had to leave. Hours later I was at a landscape consultation and the client asked if I knew you since I also run a stamping/scrapbooking business. When she mentioned your blog name I was pretty sure that was where I had been this morning. Small world! I live in Hutchinson. :) You have a great blog, btw, and fantastic cards.
ReplyDeleteI like them all (the first is my favorite because of that yummy ribbon!)but I agree... red and blue are hard to get right. They need lots of white or black or gray to temper the boldness I think. Love how different they all are Laurie!
ReplyDeleteI love the first one, especailly the ribbon treatment!
