MFT Countdown Day 1....

I adore this banner as it creates a simple and fun card element.  The stitched line lays down and cuts easily anywhere on your card.  The banners cut out all at once, which is so nice.  I used rainbow copies to color each individual banner.  I zig zagged these across the front of the card and then added a simple white "hi" for the sentiment.

March My Monthly Hero Kit Hop...

Hello there!  I am so excited to be hopping along today with some amazing crafters.  Today we are sharing the March My Monthly Hero Kit.  When I saw the kit, I got pretty excited and created 4 cards.  So hang in there with me because I have a few pics to share today! "The Beautiful Basics March 2018 My Monthly Hero is a collection of all-purpose messages and icons in a modern style, with lovely script message dies for them to coordinate with or use alone. Additional dies included will frame your designs in shapes of banners, tags and bubbles. I have four cards using pieces from the Hero Arts kit but I have also added in several add-ons.  This first card showcases the new Smile Stamp and Cut along with the Bold Graphic Confetti Die....

I did a little ink blending on the background, then added the Confetti die over the top in vellum.  I added the "smile" die and sentiments on the card front with a few little dew drops for detail.

The Every Which Way Stencil grabbed my attention and, of course, I saw it and thought it needed a rainbow....

I used some Distress Oxides to create the background and then added that gorgeous hello die cut to the front of the card.  I grabbed a few more dew drops...well...because I want to use them on every card.  :)

I adore the Hello There sentiment from the kit stamp set.  I inked it up with a Hero Arts Ombre ink pad and then colored over the shadow with a black pen just for a different look. 

I used the confetti image from the kit stamp set in a light gray in the background and then went back in with one of the stars inked up in black.  I added a couple mats under the sentiment and then popped it up on fun foam to finish off the card.

Finally my last card...

I used the Alphabet Window Fancy Die with a pice of alcohol inked up yupo paper.  I love all the color in this.  This die would make the best teacher card so I added the "thank you" die in black cardstock.

MFT Countdown Day 2...

Hey there!  Today is Day 2 of the MFT March Countdown.  I have a super fun new stencil to share with you...Stencil Basics Shape Triangle. This stencil is so versatile and can make for an easy clean and simple card. 

I used the different sized triangle in the stencil along with some different colors of oxides and made a quick background.  Next, I die cut Hello from black fun foam and black cardstock to add a dimensional sentiment to the card front.

MFT Countdown Day 3...

Howdy friends!  We are at Day 3 of the MFT Countdown and I have an adorable new set to share with you today.  This new set is called Best in the West.  It has several adorable images that are so much to color.



I used 2 more new products on this card.... the Elegant Rectangle STAX and the Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil. First, I used the Elegant Rectangles to create a layered background.  On the top layer, I colored up a little scene using the Cloud Stencil and the Drifts and Hills Stencil.  On top of the background scene, I added in the new Sunrise Radiating Rays stencil.  I colored up the fence and horse images and then added in some flowers from the new Beautiful Day.

To finish off this card, I die cut the smallest Stitched Fishtail and heat embossed the sentiment.

MFT Countdown Day 4...

Welcome to day 4 of the MFT Countdown.  Today we have several adorable new sets to share but I am focusing on the new set called Owl My Love.



To create this card, I stamped the owl image to cover the front card panel and then did a little Copic stippling on one image.  I popped that panel up on foam tape and then stamped a sentiment, also included in the set, along the bottom in Red Hot ink.  Super simple!
