Clearly Besotted 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop...

I am SO excited to be joining in for the Clearly Besotted 2nd Anniversary Blog hop!  There is going to be lots of fun stuff to see for sure!  If you are following along on the hop, you should have made it here from my friend Amy's blog.   I kinda got all excited and went a little overboard and made up 3 projects for today!  :)

Here is my first card....



I stamped the Clearly Besotted Basic Strips on a sheet of card stock in Provincial Gray.  the I layered it with a piece of white.  I stamped the daisies from the new set called Celebrating You, onto a piece of Vellum.  I added a sentiment from that same set to the front by heat embossing with white powder. Then I attached it all the front with a little piece of gray ribbon and a staple.  

The next tag uses a sentiment from Most Wonderful.  

It was super easy to mask off and stamp using the different colors.  I added this one to a little gift bag and what a super simple little gift!

This last card uses the new wreath from Joy to the World.

I stamped this one about 4 times in a circle to make the wreath.  I added in the little berry stamp too, for some color.  Last, I stamped in the larger berries and colored them with stickles.  I heat embossed the word joy in the center using Gold Embossing Powder.

Smooches!

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

We have a new sponsor, Paper Smooches, for the Curtain Call Inspiration: Smooch!  A randomly selected participant in the Smooch challenge will be awarded a $25 gift certificate to the Paper Smooches store, while the LEAD of the challenge will be invited as a guest designer for a future challenge!

I used a fun set from Paper Smooches called Bold Buzzwords.    First, I layered up the rainbow colored Doodlebug papers and then attached them all to the card front.  I popped them up on foam tape.  Then I stamped the sentiment in black.  I stamped 2 hearts in red ink and cut them out.  I used more foam tape to give them some dimension.  I covered them in Glossy Accents and added in glitter and then another layer of Glossy Accents for some shine and sparkle.  Just so I would have some contrast with that black sentiment, I added in some black enamel dots. 

I used the Paper Smooches September Sketch to create my card, along with the pop of red from the Curtain Call inspiration photo.

The Card Concept: Challenge #20

Are you ready for fall?  I sure am!  I am loving the cooler temps.  This time of year is my favorite for sure!

I am joining in with the girls over at Card Concept again for another fun challenge.  This time the it's a color combo and its perfect for fall!



I stamped this gorgeous sentiment from Give Thanks in black ink and then, stamped and cut out 3 pumpkins from Forever Fall.  I layered it with a piece of black, just to balance it all out.  I attached it all to a kraft card base and rounded one corner just for a little something else.
