Reverse Confetti Release Hop...

Hello friends!  Today is the September Reverse Confetti Release.  If you have been seeing the sneak peeks, you know there are lots of fun new stamps and dies to pick from.  I am here today with a couple of card using the new sets called Triangle Trees and Fall Foliage.

CARDS

Reverse Confetti

This first card showcases the new Fall Foliage.  It is a set full of gorgeous leaves and dies and one perfect coordinating sentiment.  I heat embossed all of the images on a piece of watercolor paper and then colored them in with my Zig Markers.  I colored a light gray watercolor in the background just for a little distressed look.  I added the sentiment on the banner die from the Tag Me die set and then added it over the top of a little pile of silver thread.

The next card is the perfect holiday set but I had to go another route....

Reverse Confetti

I took all the trees off the stamp set and lined them up with a rainbow of ink and then stamped them in a circle to create a fun little burst of color.  Next, I took the tag from Tag Me and die cut it in vellum.  I heat embossed the sentiment from the set The Most Beauty.  To finish off the card, I added a strip of glittery washi and the topped it off with some dew drops around the tag.

Reverse Confetti

That is it for me today.  There will be lots more to see on the Reverse Confetti hop.  Here is the full list for you....

Reverse Confetti July Release Hop...

I am so excited to be hopping along with the girls over at Reverse Confetti for Julys Release!  There are lots of new stamp sets and dies this month and I have a couple to share here.

Reverse Confetti July 2018 Release

To create this first card, I took acrylic paint and a foam brush and created a super simple painted background.  I die cut my most favorite tag die ever out of white card stock and then stamped 2 sentiment from the set called Most Beauty on the tag.  I added a wooden button and a twine bow to finish off this card.

Another new set is called Greatest Adventure....

I added a little clouds and a little grass to the background of this card and then added in the teepee and that adorable little fox.  I stamped the sentiment across the bottom using my Misti.  I love these adorable images in the set.  Such a cute set for sure!

So glad you stopped in today!  Enjoy the hop!

Simply the best...

Good morning!  I got up this morning....came down to my craft room...and saw this roll of ribbon....and got inspired.  I used to put a bow on EVERY card.  I don't anymore and I have decided it's time to bring back the bows!  Here is a quick card I whipped up today!

IMG_0363_edited-1

I brought a little LB inspiration with the post it tape and blending on the my most favorite tag die in the history of ever.  This tag from Reverse Confetti is so darn cute!  I love the little embossed outline.  I stamped a sentiment from the new set called Here's the Story.  The 'You Are' is from So Very Special.  I added in the tiny heart from Donut You Know.

Next, I scored some lines in the background but used the reverse side for the card base....so they look more like grooves.  Last, I added in that bow.  SO fun!

IMG_0364_edited-1

So that is it for today!  I am off to the gym now.  I don't want to really but I feel like if I type it out, I will have no choice.  Because now you know I am going.  So i better go.  Bye!

RC SFYTT...

Hey there!  I'm stopping in with a sketch card for January's SFYTT over at Reverse Confetti.  I used some new release goodies for today's card...

IMG_0215

I used the new die from Documented for the panel.  I stamped flowers from Love Blooms and the sentiment from Here's the Story.  I added in the lines from the set Right here Right now.  To ground the card, I added in some score lines on the card base and then finished if off by tucking a little arrow die behind the front panel.  That little die is from Documented, too.

IMG_0216

I used 2 little enamel dots in the center of the flowers for a little more detail.

Here are the sets I used....

Here is this month's sketch...

Stop over to the Reverse Confetti blog to play along.  I can't wait to see your cards!  Thank you for coming by!

happy new year!

Stopping in with a quick CAS card just in time for the New Year.  I have been seeing Laura Bassen's gorgeous masked blending cards, so I thought I would give it a try with some Delicata Gold ink.  I wish I could capture the shimmer on this card.  It is so pretty in real life!

IMG_0187

I masked of the top corner and then stamped this sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Bring on the Merry.  I won't bore you with my love of ampersands, so I will just say there was no way I could mask it off.  I have started collecting them in large sizes here at home.  I have no idea why I love them so much....and I said I wouldn't go into it!  lol!  For the rest of the card, I used an "*" from the set called Lighthearted Letters.  I added in a little arrow image from RC's All About you.  And last, I added in some silver sequin stars for a little more bling.

IMG_0186

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas!  I got to spend it with both of my sisters.  I am so happy that we could actually be in the same place at the same time.  Lots of miles between us the rest of the year, so its been a fun and busy week.  We spent a couple days on the Plaza in Kansas City too!  I wish we had more time for the holidays, but its good to get back to normal and the tree is going down today.  Oh and LOTS of laundry too!

Here is a quick list of the supplies I used in today's card....

Thanks so much for stopping in today!  And thank you for hanging out with me for another year!  I am almost to 8 years of blogging and I can't believe that!  I am so thankful for all of my blogging friends.  I have said it before but the friendships are my most favorite part of this hobby!

Happy New Year!

SFYTT...

Have you seen this month's sketch for you to try over at Reverse Confetti?  It makes for a fun, CAS card....

IMG_0094

I used Roundabout and stamped the back of the "thx" image in different colors and then stamped the "thx" in the pattern from the sketch.  To add in the horizontal lines, I scored 2 lines across the middle.  I took a little freedom of sketch and left out one detail, but I love how CAS it turned out.  To make lots of these and have them on hand would be super easy!

I hope you can play along too!  Here its this month's sketch....

Pretty Packaging...

IMG_00591

Well, the holidays are here and REVERSE CONFETTI has a collection of Christmas products that will help get started on making those packages look pretty!  Grab a hot cocoa or some coffee, sit back and join us for our Pretty Packages blog hop

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Amber's blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!

I love decorating boxes, especially these old Birchbox boxes I have stashed away.  The have have a hot pink foil letting on the top but its so easy to cover them up with your own decoration.  I took the Tagged Tote die and made the large tag with black cardstock.  I heat embossed the sentiments on the top for that chalkboard look.

IMG_0062

I added in some holly, stickles and a bow.  I used So Striped to decorate around the box.  I stamped the diagonal stripe image 4 times, then cut them each out wrapping the striped around the box.

Here is a shot of the whole box....
