Introducing Palm Prints...

Welcome to Papertrey Ink's release countdown!  I have one card to share today using 2 new sets, Palm Prints and Splits: Hello.

So I got an email the other day with a picture of a calendar.  When I saw the calendar, I was instantly inspired to re-create the same look.  Sadly, now I can't find the email  (or remember where it came from) but the card was totally inspired by a gorgeous calendar with similar black palms.

I took one of the images from the Palm Prints and stamped it in black around the card front.  Then I used a little polka dot from Splits: Hello There and stamped it several times in Hibiscus Burst, as well as the sentiment.  I layered the card front on a Hibiscus Burst card base.

Nichole will have lots more stuff to see on her blog with some links to visit the rest of the Design Team.  I will be back in a couple of days with the Release in Review!

Have a great day!

MFT Product Launch....

Hello!  Welcome to My Favorite Things Product Launch!  Have you seen all the fun things available this month?  If you haven't, head on over to the MFT Store and check it out!

I have a quick and simple card showcasing the new Stitched Heart Grid and the new Well Connected Alphabet.

January 2017 MFT

I did some watercoloring with an ombre effect and the cut out the hearts.  I added them to the stitched lines that I added to the card using the other part of the die set.  SO FUN!!  Next, I added in the "love u" with the alphabet.  Super easy!

Head on over to the MFT Blog to see what all the girls have created for today.  Thanks so much for coming by!

A little Simon Says Love....

Happy New Year to all my crafty friends!  It has been a little quiet around here due to the craziness of the holidays.....that and a lack of mojo.  Like seriously in a rut.  A big one.

I got in to my craft room, cleaned it really good.  So good that I have Priority Mail boxes FULL of crafty stuff to sell.  If you are interested in those, click HERE.  I have several boxes left and they are ready to go to a good home.

After all the cleaning and purging, I went to my box of "stuff to use" that I hadn't opened yet and I found this ADORABLE die from Simon Says Stamp.  It's called Clipping Heart and I love it.  Seriously.  It's like a bonus die.  Why, you ask?  Well, you get this amazing outline and then look at all those hearts!!  It's a 2-fer.  :)

Here is the card I whipped up for today.....

I did a simple watercolor wash in the background and then added the "i love you" from WPlus9's Bubble Talk.  I added in the Clipping Heart after stacking 4 of them together.  Then I ran one through with the sliver glitter paper and added in the hearts.  So easy and so much fun!

I am so happy that my crafty mojo is back.  Stay tuned for a couple new releases coming your way from MFT and Papertrey Ink!

Hope you are having a great week!

MFT December Card Kit....

I am back today, to share another card using the new MFT December Card Kit.  Tomorrow is usually release day, but the fun thing for this month?  It's already live and ready to buy!

Here is my card for today...

MFT December 2016 Card Kit

I used 2 things for this card that do not come in the kit.....black card stock and blue fun foam.  The kit comes with this gorgeous stamp set, coordinating dies and 3 adorable sentiment dies, along with envelopes and a selection of colored cardstock.  You can see the whole kit by clicking HERE.

I stamped the flowers to make my own patterned card stock.  Then I added it to a black card base.  I used tealish blue fun foam and cut out the sentiment.

That is it for today!  The rest of the team will have some more samples over on the MFT Blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

December Moments Inked...

Moments Inked Banner
Hey planner friends!  I am stopping in today, to share my holiday inserts for the Moments Inked Planner System.  As you know, I usually keep my planning pretty simple, but I had to bring in the bling and add in some fun Christmas lists.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

To start, I added the scalloped divider from the Moments Inked: Divided Dies, cut out of red glitter card stock.  Next, I used the December die from Monthly Moments: Year Round 2 dies.  I backed the divider with vellum to help keep that nice and sturdy.

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

I grabbed one of the middle pages from the Moments Inked: Basic Page Dies to make a little post it note holder.  I stamped the sentiment from A Thrill of Hope on the Spring Moss page.

Last, I created a Christmas To Do List....

Christmas lists for Moments Inked

I used Moments Inked: Posted II and stamped the lines on the largest basic page die cut in white card stock.  I added in a gorgeous tree image from O'Tannenbaum on the side and then added in the "Christmas" die cut, from Wet Paint Holiday,  again in the red glitter cardstock.

These lists are sure to keep me organized with all the stuff we have coming up.  Definitely a fun, but busy time of year.

One more shot of the top of my planner....I just love seeing that red glitter divider, peaking out and keeping my place!

Hope you have found a little planner inspiration here.  So glad you stopped in!

Merry Christmas!
