PTI Release in Review...

Happy PTI Release day!  There are lots of things to add to your stash this month and I have a few more things to share.

This first set, Paper Clippings: Birthday is so much fun!  I love love that banner die and can see it being used for so many other things.  And that Happy?  Whats happier than that?

I finished this card off with a balloon and some Glossy Accents....

This next card showcases the new set called Inspired: Grace and the new color Pink Peony...

IMG_3224

I used the Color Pop Butterflies stencils to create the background underneath the vellum flap.  The vellum flap was created using the new Noted: Scalloped A1 card die.

I heat embossed part of the sentiment and then added in the Grace after sponging on the new color to the bottom.

What the Doodle: Sun is up next for this card.  I did some heat embossing, then some watercoloring and then dipped the bottom of the "sunshine" in glitter....

IMG_3215

I pulled out the heart die from Enclosed: Heart and then did some sponging inside the negative of the heart.  I added in this gorgeous sentiment from Graceful Greetings II, then added the stitched card front to the A2 Noted card.

Last, I used the new Splits: Way to Go set for this quick and simple tag...

Forget Me Not Notes...

One more day till release day over at Papertrey Ink.  Today is our last group post for the June release and today's stamps and dies are amazing!  There are 3 new sets of Noted: Scalloped note card dies....and they are so fun!

My first card is the A2 sized Noted die...

IMG_3193

I stamped the flowers from the Forget Me Not set, off to the top and bottom corners of the paper and then used the stitched rectangle die from the same set.  I added in the Big Basics: Thinking of you popped up on foam to finish of the card.

IMG_3195

And the coordinating card with the A1 sized noted die....

IMG_3203

This time I just stamped the flowers out on card stock and then cut out the center with the coordinating rectangle die.  I added in the Big Basics: Love You to create this card.

IMG_3204

Very CAS and super easy! These new note card dies are a must have.  I can't wait to use these more with some of the other PTI floral sets.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards this week.  I know the rest of the team will have beautiful samples to share today.  Stop over to Nichole's blog to see the full list.  Thanks so much for coming by today!

Introducing Woodblock Prints...

It's day 2 of Group Posts over at Papertrey Ink.  Today's focus is on the new Woodblock products.  There is a stamp set, a stencil set and some gorgeous new paper.

This first card showcases the new stamp set...

IMG_3197

I stamped the paisley images in Versamark and then heat embossed them onto watercolor paper.  I used my Peerless Watercolors to add some color and then finished the card off with a gold die cut sentiment using the Swoosh Die set

IMG_3199

This next card uses the paper from the new Woodblock paper pack.

IMG_3178

I simply cut the paper into diagonal stripes and then cut 1" off the bottom of the card.  I added the stripes to a 5" x 5" card and then slid in another gold sentiment using the new sentiment die called Big Basics: Congratulations.  Quick and simple!

IMG_3180

For my last project, I made a super simple set of cards.

IMG_3186

I stenciled a sheet of card stock and then cut out 4 dies with Tag Sale #3 die.  I simply added in some black twine and then took the new Keep it Simple: To and From and added it in to the back.  I love having simple tags on hand to add to a gift in a pinch.

We have one more day of projects to share.  I hope you stop back by tomorrow.  Nichole's blog will have lots more to see using today's stamps and dies.  Head on over there to check them out!

A need for speed...

Welcome to the first group post of the June Papertrey Ink Release.  We have some cute new products to share perfect for the boys in your life!  Or in the case of my first project, maybe even a girl!

My first project today features the new die set called Stitched Car.  I decided to use the car and add it to a loom project.  If you haven't seen PTI's stitched dies, click HERE to see all the amazing dies in this collection.

I added the Stitched Sunshine Die and the Stitched Rainbow Die to my loom as well as the Bitty Button Stacks dies to create the flowers. PTI has gorgeous felt for your projects and you can see the rainbow of colors HERE

IMG_7253

For my next project, I created a fun CAS card, perfect for the new driver in your life.

IMG_3176

I used the On the Road die for the background, then put in the stamped die cuts from Need for Speed and Road Signed.  The numbers in the Route sign are from the Road Signed Numbers.  On the card base, I added in some score lines just for some added detail.
