Celebration Inspiration...

Good morning!  It's time for our last Group Project for the Papertrey Ink release.  Today is all about birthdays!  I have three coordinating CAS cards to share.

This first card showcases the new Scene it: Celebration dies.

First, I added in some masked watercolor in the background.  For the focal point, I added the star layer in Gold Adhesive yardstick, the ballon layer in vellum and the top layer in Hibiscus Burst, with the heat embossed sentiment.

This next card is super easy!  I used the dies from Birthday Cheer and cut out Celebrate in Gold Adhesive.

I layered the Confetti Toss paper on a Hibiscus Burst card base to finish it off.  Very quick and simple and easy to mass produce.

And for the last card, I used the same color scheme so they could all coordinate with the Confetti Toss patterned paper.

I stamped out the middle panel and added some Aqua Mist ink blending, as well as a small panel of cardstock behind the sentiment.  I added in a row of banner tails in vellum along with a Gold Embossed sentiment.

So that is it for today! Stop back by tomorrow when we share the rest of the release.  Thanks so much for stopping in!

Petite Places Through the Seasons...

Welcome to our second group post for the November Papertrey Ink release.  Today's challenge was to use the new Petite Places Walk in the Park.  This new set has so many fun little details to add in to your existing Petite Place sets.
Laurie

I made four tags using the Tag Sale #5 die and Petite Places: School Mini Stamp set, along with Walk in the Park.  I picked a basic layout using the school and then decorated each tag using seasonal colors.

I used a little white gel pin to add in some snow.  I also masked off some snow drifts along the bottom of the tag.

I used some muted greens to bring the spring to this tag.  I sponged some Aqua Mist in the sky for each tag too.

For summer, I used some brighter greens.

And then on to Autumn.  I used a little Canyon Clay for those Fall trees.

The rest of the team has lots to share in the Seasonal theme.

Introducing Winter Woods...

Winter is in the air for this latest PTI Release.  Or at least it is here in Kansas.  Yesterday it started out around 64 degrees and by 4pm it was 48 degrees.  Brrrr!  I didn't even have a coat with me!  I am not totally ready for winter but I am loving the stamps and dies we are showcasing today in the first Group Project of the November Papertrey Ink Release.

This first card was made using new stamps from the Winter Woods set.  First, I took some Aqua Mist ink and did a little soft blending in the background.  Next, I inked up the branch in Dark Chocolate and spritzed it with water for that watercolor look.

I inked up the greenery in Simply Chartreuse with a little touch of Ripe Avocado and again spritzed that stamp with water.  I did the same for the cardinal.  I inked her up with Pure Poppy and sprayed a a little water on.  I added in the details and sentiment in black to finish off the card. Oh!  And I added a little black pearl for an eye!

For this next card, I used the Winter Woods cover plate.  After cutting in out of white card stock, I ran it through with my woodgrain impression plate for some texture.  I put this cover plate die on top of an inked up card base.  I also added the snow flake die in white ink on the Aqua Mist inking.

To finish it off, I added in the little bird from the set and a sentiment embossed on a vellum banner.

Tomorrow is another fun Group Post, so I hope that you will stop back by.  Thanks for visiting today!
