I used some old Versamagic Inks for this card...Pumpkin Spice, Jumbo Java, Fired Brick.  And then some Amuse Fern and Amuse Grass for the little hill.  I finished it off with a corner chomper....a must have in your tool stash!  :)

Verve Spotlight Hops Day 2...

Welcome to our September 2013 Spotlight Hops!  We're so excited to share some new Verve with you! Each day this week, the Divas will be shining their Verve spotlights on a different set, so stay tuned for a week filled with inspiration! Everything previewed this week will be available in the Verve online store on Friday, 9/27.

Today's set is called Geared Up.  It is so fun for kids and birthdays.  Here is my geared up card...

I stamped the all the gears in different colors and then added in some black gears on top.  I added in some of the new Metal Mix from Verve on top.  I added in the sentiment on a little 1" panel to finish it off.

Verve September Spotlight Hop Day 1...

Welcome to our September 2013 Spotlight Hops!  We're so excited to share some new Verve with you! Each day this week, the Divas will be shining their Verve spotlights on a different set, so stay tuned for a week filled with inspiration! Everything previewed this week will be available in the Verve online store on Friday, 9/27.

Today we are showcasing a new set called Each Day.  I love the sentiments included in this one.  The message is so strong in each of these and I love being able to make cards to pass along to people who need to hear them.  

For this card, I stamped the leaves from the Bloom and Grow set and then ran that panel through the Big Shot with an embossing folder.  Then I attached that panel to the card front with foam tape.  I stamped the sentiment with Hero Arts Wet Cement.  The butterfly is heat embossed with white powder and then I used a red and pink copic on the reverse side to add a little colors.  Last I added in some new Verve sequins.  They are so fun and I love that there is different sizes included!  :)

Happy Autumn...

Good morning!  I am here today with a new sketch for the Retro Sketches challenge.  Our sketch this week is brought to you by the lovely, Arielle.  You can see her original card HERE.

I was recently sent some amazing stamps by a sweet friend, so I had to ink them up today!  These leaves and sentiments are from Hero Arts Leaves Autumn and Scattering Leaves.  The inks are Versamagic.  I used Jumbo Java, Red Brick, Pumpkin Spice and Lido from Amuse.

Kelly Purkey and Simon Says Blog Hop

Today is a pretty fun day!  I get to hop along with some amazing gals and we get to use some amazing new products!  Kelly Purkey is releasing some very cool and super trendy new stuff for Stamptember at Simon Says Stamp.  I have a couple of cards to share today, so lets get started!

My first card uses Kelly's adorable new feather dies and a new sentiment set called, I like you.  I also added some of Kelly's new washi tape into the mix....



I took several strips of the washi tape and covered some white card stock.  Then I die cut the feathers from the washi covered card stock.  I added in the sentiment and then attached the feathers with glue dots, tipping up the ends just a little for some dimension.

This next card highlights a sentiment that may be one of my favorites ever.  Manic text messages are apart of my daily life.  I am so lucky to have friends who I can send them to and who send them right back to me!  This sentiment is just right and I can't wait to send this one on...

I made the little iphone with a phone cut on my cameo.  I added in some washi tape behind a piece of acetate so I could get a clear cover on the phone.  I added in a silver button on the phone for a little detail.

And one more card made using Cath's inspiration post HERE.  I used the new Go.See.Do. die and some woodgrain pattern paper from Studio Calico...



Kelly has an awesome product line that you can see HERE, over at Simon Says Stamp.  Her stamps are so much fun and she has some adorable dies, as well!
