Colour Q #101

Stopping in with a super quick post!  (I should be making dinner! hehe!)  The color combo over at Colour Q this week is SO pretty! I had to play! Here is my card...

I stamped a Mendhi Medaillion with Aqua Mist ink on Aqua Mist paper just for a subtle background!  Then I layered the leaves and rolled flowers on the stamped image!  I added that to the textured card base with foam tape!  I couldn't get the color of that darker violet to shoot right!  It is a lot light IRL!

Off to make dinner....and still not sure what I should make and its time to eat!  What are you having tonight?

Wee Memories Challenge #67

Hey everyone! I am back today with my 2nd post as Guest Designer over at Wee Memories! They have a new challenge for you today! One layer cards! These area favorite of mine as I am generally a CAS girl! First off....here is my card....

In the background, I stamped Hero Arts Envelope pattern stamp using some Chai Distress Ink.  Its just a very light detail but it looks kinda cool IRL!  Next, I inked up that pitcher and then used the kissing technique with the Mehndi Medallion stamp just to give the pitcher some detail.  I added some flowers and the sentiment from that same set, Iconic Images from PTI.  And just for a little more detail, I rounded opposite corners of the base.  There you have it!  Super simple one layer card!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #19

Can you say FALL?  Yep!  It's a FALL challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays!  And I am loving this A LOT!  I have been way too hot for way too long....sorry if I have complained at all.  But its been a hot one as many of you well know!  It is gorgeous here today and the smell of Fall is in the air.  This is my favorite season because my favorite outfit....sweatshirt and jeans...will be making a comeback!  :)

So here I am with my fall, paper piecing,challenge card....

The challenge this week is to use paper piecing in your fall themed CAS project!  And I have to tell you about my CAS card here.  It's pretty simple right?  Here's all the details. First off....Cardstock and paper from PTI.  Big Pumpkin is the large tree shape from Stamps of Life in the "trees2build" set.  Little pumpkin is actually an apple stamp from DeNami.  And the medium pumpkin?  Well I couldn't find a medium sized circle so that is actually a traced circle from a spool of twine.  Then of course that super cute sentiment is from Waltzingmouse!  And last but not least, some black twine from the Twinery!  5 companies all one one super simple card!  :)

Card Patterns: Sketch 131

I was super excited to see the CP sketch this week! It is such a fun layout! I had to play along! First off, here is my card...

OK so that is how I interpreted the sketch this week!  I just moved the bling around a few times!  What do you think?  I am thinking that hounds-tooth from PTI is SO fun!  This is my first time inking it up!

Market Street Sketch

**This is my second post for the day! Scroll down to see my DeNami Animal Challenge card!**

Stopping in right quick with a Market Street Sketch challenge card!  I just got a couple new MSS sets last week so I had to join in!  

I stamped the flower image on the Kraft layer in Versamark.  Then I added in a piece of Berry Sorbet cardstock and ribbon.  The main stamped image is colored with Copics.  I added the black frame with a Copic Multiliner pen for just a little more detail!

I don't know were you are, I am LOVING this Kansas weather today!  It is GORGEOUS!  I think its around 57 right now!  Nice and chilly!  I have been waiting for this for a long time!  The kids and I are headed out to play!  Hope your day is going well too!  Thanks for stopping!
