Paper Dolls Challenge #6

Deena over at PaperDolls had a great challenge for us!  She used an adorable sketch from Paper Crafts!  You can see the challenge HERE!

Here is my take....

You can kinda see some of the sparkle I added on the little trail but the pic doesn't do it justice!  I thought the button stamp from Lawn Fawn added just the right touch!

Thanks for looking today!

True Friend!

So this is one of 4 cards I made on my Stamp Away weekend.  Yes I only finished 4.  Between the shopping, laughing and talking, I didn't get much done.  One thing I did get though, was a little copic tut from my amazing friend Barb!  She can rock the copics!  So here is my most recent attempt using these markers!

That gorgeous punched border is a new MS punch!  I used Amy's while at her house and of course had to buy it for myself!  Isn't it so pretty?  I also used the new PTI impression plate for the background.  I love how it adds just a little distressed look!

OK that is all for today!  Thanks for stopping by!

A fun new stamp!

I found this stamp by Hero Arts on our trip!  I LOVE it!  I stamped the image with Eucalyptus Walnut Ink.  Then I took Pebbles Earth tone chalks and added in color!  The butterfly is PTI along with the sentiment!  One card and already loving this stamp!  :)

(Jen look!  I distressed the edges!  GASP!)

Hope you like it too!  Thanks for looking!

Stamp Away Weekend!

So I just got back from a FABULOUS stamping and shopping weekend in Kansas City!  It was such a fun time!  I just had to stop and share some pics of Amy, Jen, Barb and I!

Friday we spent the day at Amy's house!

I must tell you about my FAVORITE stamping friends!  This is Jen.  She lives 5 minutes from me.  How lucky are we?  You either "get" this hobby or you don't.  She does.  I am pretty lucky to have her so close!

This is Amy.  She gets its too!  She is not as close but 2 hours is an EASY drive.  And I love her too.

This is Amy's stamp rack.  I love it too.  Alot.

This is where I would insert a pic of my friend Barb!  But she wouldn't let me take her picture.  When I saw the look she gave me, I knew to step away.  Fast. (Although I am risking everything by posting some pics of Barb later on in this post.  BARB, I do love you! And I loved your copic teaching!! Thank you!!)

This was my stamping area.....

So, here is me and Amy.  We were so happy on on our stamping day!

Here we are so happy together at Archivers.  Yes...angels do sing when you walk in the door!

We went to an insane amount of stores!  My feet hurt.  Bad.  But we just kept on!  It was worth it all the deals we found. Punches, buttons, ribbon, stamps....And I got a new pink Big Shot!  :)

Here we all are, just about to say goodbye!  (The frozen look on my face means....camera timer WORK please!)

I am sooo super lucky to have these girls so close!  It was an amazing time and I really didn't want to leave.  I hope we can do it again soon!  Channeling the Pioneer Woman I have to say to Jen, Amy and Barb.....

Love you all more then my stamps!  :)
