365 Super Sketchy Sunday!

I love looking at the 365 Cards blog and I have friends who participate regularly. I always have the idea of what I want to do, I just don't have the time to actually put into works! SO, I saw this sketch and decided to play!

I thought this was a fun sketch to showcase TAC's More Mimi double sided paper! I really like all the colors! The base is made from TAC's Kraft which is one of my favorites! It is so thick and wonderful! hehe! (Yes, I have a paper addiction!)

I added a bow, some gems and a senitment from one of our Hostess Sets! I used my new Corner Chomper and rounded just one corner of the card! Oh and I popped the whole card front up on pop dots for dimision! Quick and simple!

Check out 365 Cards Blog HERE! There is always great ideas and inspiration!

Thanks for coming by!

Spunky Sprite Girls and Boys!!

OK so looking through the new catalog, of course you are always going to find the sets that are "must haves"! And of course, I always have a huge list. BUT, I saw these 2 sets and just turned the page. So then you just keep looking and looking and then you start over and go through the catalog again and again. And about the third time through I took a closer look at Spunky Sprite Girls and Spunky Sprite Boys. And then I figured out for sure.....they were "must haves" too! They are so stinkin' adorable I couldn't pass them up!! AND they are going to be super fun for scrapbook pages!!

So here is one of the girls....She's cute...even though my coloring is no-so-hot!
I think she looks my DD! So I had to have this set!!

And then there were the boys! I saw this image here and fell in love! Isn't he adorable?

So, I am stamping along and realized how fun it would be to add dimension with the shower head, bubbles and towel! So I just colored the parts up and added some pop dots for that 3-D affect!

I am thinking this will just be for one of those, "I am thinking of you" and here is a card occasions!

Sorry to all you who are NOT Bronco fans, I didn't chose this color combo for that reason! hehe! Sorry Todd! (Like my BIL looks at my blog!)

For the background paper, I ran the orange piece through the crimper, cut some blue strips, added a little Scor-Bug and done! Super easy! (And can you believe I didn't even use ribbon on this card? That doesn't happen very often...and it was hard!)

OK so I had to share my new cuties! These are available now in the new catalog! Call or email me to place your order!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Heather's Monday Sketch

Here is Heather's Monday Sketch for this week! I like this one because of the endless possibilities with the ripped paper. You can rip it, use deco scissors, "nestie" it, leave it square.....on and on.

Anyway, here is her sketch....

I made 2 cards. Here is the first one that I LOVE! And it looks so much better in person!! Love that new TAC Skinny Birds set. The mug is in there and it is adorable!!
And here is the other. I used Linear Sentiments and Swirly Gigs for the bottom piece! I so love making my own patterned paper!

So that is all for tonight! Thanks for looking!

Back to the 50's....

At the TAC Seminar this last weekend, we were so lucky to be able to attend a sock hop! We all dressed up in rolled up jeans and poodle skirts! It was alot of fun! At the end of the night we were given a special stamp set to remember the night! I finally got to cut it out last night and here is a quick card I made!

I heat embossed the polka dots on the black cardstock! Her dress is paper pieced using TAC's Scarlet cardstock but it also has the free download printed out on it first. Love the polka dots!

I used the Gelly Roll Glitter pen to color the poodle, her glasses, parts of her shoes and belt and the ruffles on her dress! I thought she turned out pretty cute!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Be Square....

I am finally back from seminar and I have LOTS of fun things to share! It was a really fun weekend with lots of projects, fun and creativity! One of the new sets we were able to get out hands on was my FAVORITE set in the catty! How lucky am I? It is called "Be Square" and it features 5 different adorable owls and 3 sentiments! (I will show more later for sure!) So here is my first card using this set......

The sentiment is from the new set called "Sunday Stroll". I used Kraft cardstock and TAC's Brown Cardstock. The faux stitching is with Tombow White Gel Pen! Sure adds a fun little touch!

And one more bit of news for all my customers! We no longer have "GWP's" (Gift With Purchase), we have "PWP's" (Purchase With Purchase)! These new stamps are larger in size and can be purchased for $2.95 with every $30 purchase! Here is an example of one of the new stamps! I am loving it!!
Wanted to share one more picture with you! Here are me and some of my favorite people! Left to Right, my WOSFF, Barb Foster, Sarah Gilreath, Amy Kolling and me! This was one picture out of LOTS that actually came out. My camera did not work so well in the dark! I traveled to seminar with Jen Carter and am still trying to "fix" some of the pictures of her and I!

Anyway, let me know if you are interested in a new catalog! They are $4.95. Email me or call and I can save one for you!

Stay tuned this week for more fun projects using the new stamps!
